He's come in to play the "y u dare accuse me" card and the "im happy to die" card. Those are attempts to earn cred in my eyes.

I meant on D1, as in he’d do more than just leave it as a joke/try to put something that looks like actual reasons behind it


Maybe flash is the exception but ime most scum players aren’t actually comfortable just having joke votes out an entire day, even one on their partner, and feel the need to either move off it or pivot it to being a serious vote at some point. Maybe flash is the exception, idk, but that’s broadly been my experience

But to give you a semi-serious reply Seth...when I “don’t play” I get flamed for “not contributing”...when I do have the time to sit down and play I get told some version of “you’re dumb” or “you’re bad”...so my motivation to explain my reads and engage people is very low rn. It’s nothing particularly personal this just isn’t the kind of game/environment that I enjoy, so my drive to push this game in a direction I think it should go really isn’t there. I’ll continue giving my reads, I’ll engage when I have time/people are asking good faith questions (i.e., not “why are you useless” type ones), but 25-30 posts a day in two bursts and an attempt to make whatever EODs I can is probably just what you’re getting from me at this point

The fact that people off the summit wagon (and off the relevant summit wagon IIRC) keep dying means he was very likely bussed, or at least scum mostly weren’t trying to save him. Not sure who makes sense as bussers there but I’d say at least two on summit when it was still close probably

His thought progression this game makes ZERO sense, especially when you look at it in context of his D4 voting.

Here are his Vecna reads:

D2 Maniac townread Vecna for the timing of his summit vote and said it would take convincing for him to vote for Vecna. His "scumread" of Vecna came on D4 from what he apparently thought was a scumslip by Vecna in this exchange:

If I believed in scum slips, this would be a good one

I believe in scumslips ##vote Vecna

although Maniac never explained why he thought Vecna scumslipped. He then voted for damo before Tom's gunshot EOD but said he'd switch to Vecna if that became a thing - again, with the only explanation of him changing from townreading Vecna to voting him being a "scumslip" that didn't happen.

He later includes Vecna in a list of people with sketchy D1 voting and a claim that Vecna wasn't bussing, even though he'd already townread Vecna *because* of his D1 voting. Just compare this post with this post.

Now, let's look at Maniac's read of flash:

In his EoD1 readslist, all he says about flash is that there's "not enough info." D2 he votes flash "for reasons." Begining of D4 he votes flash here because he thinks flash might be scum, and ends up back on flash's wagon with 14 minutes left.

BUT: At 6 minutes left, he changes from flash to Vecna, which puts Vecna in the lead, and then he rallies (or tries to rally) people to get on Vecna last-minute. There's literally no explanation of why he thought Vecna was scum OR why he thought flash is town.

Oh, and as soon as Vecna flips town he's suddenly okay with voting flash again.

Do you think summit claimed D1 to a reveal a PR knowing a scum was going to be the DK, or do you think Maniac is the traitor?

Mainly because 2 of my top suspects for not bussing summit, Donny and seth, are still around. damo is gone, but ghug, Fluminator, and MF are still good candidates for summit bussers.

You like the people I point out to you as good candidates for summit bussers but still think I am scum. It's laughable that donny and I are still your top suspects for not bussing summit. Literally everyone else who was not on the wagon is dead besides nanook and maniac, who just happed to be the two scummiest players in the game.

There are 5 players left who were not voting for summit at the time he claimed (you left out worcej). After rereading D1, I felt Donny and you were the most suspicious for the way you pursued multiple summit counter wagons with little mention of summit. I think it is very unlikely all 4 remaining mafia were voting for summit before his claim, so I believe the probability of me being correct about you and/or Donny has increased, not decreased, as the non-busser pool has been reduced.

summit and Maniac were tied at 8-8 15 minutes before D1 EOD. Tom, Chaqa, and Vecna then voted for summit consecutively to make the vote 11-7. Even if there were 2 mafia already voting for summit when the vote was 8-8, there would still be 2 mafia in the other 5 left.

You refused to listen to either myself or vecna when we explained the reasons we had done things and when you misinterpreted situations or intent. I don't have time to go back through to explain again. Tunnel me if you want, I'm going to try to find scum.

Scum can always come up with an explanation for their actions. In the case of Vecna, some of his explanations did not seem as plausible and the possible scum motivations.

So why did it take you until almost the final second to make any attempt to save Vecna, if he sounded town? Did he only sound town right at the end? Why delay your vote until his death was inevitable?

Couldn't tell if he was trying to pocket me or make himself look good on my flip. Clearly as it turned out he was just defending his town reads. Near the end he was clearly town (First time I could tell for sure) and I saw that and that the vote couldn't be tied so I voted hoping others would also switch there vote. Knew it was a longshot but it was worth trying. Plus maniac had some garbage post about vote for vecna for towncred so that was also a factor that made me think mistakes were being made.

This post reminded me that flash did this before, I check and it was M56.
flash's pattern of voting for the same player at the beginning of D1 goes back further than when he started voting for summit D1. I suggest reading flash's D1 of M53, M55, and M56 for reference.
