I have found that voting for emc D1 is scum indicative.

##VOTE BunnyGo
That's only because I've drawn scum since emc got modkilled.
I did not mean it was scum indicative for you specifically, but it is scum indicative in general. I am not sure what you are referring to, I could not find a case where you voted for emc D1 as scum.
Cool. Gotcha.

I've done it a few times, and I've been vocal about it in pregame. Lately I've largely been subbing for personal reasons, so haven't had the chance to.

I went to look too, and couldn't find it either. I've just largely drawn scum lately (or been killed D1) and largely been protesting emc lately, so I imagine the two have strong correlation. But I hadn't checked.

If teammates told him to be dumb, I don’t think he would have corrected himself so quickly. He would have let someone else correct him to play it off more visibly. This seems like an honest mistake. A mistake scum could make too, but if I were a new player with scum daychat I’d be running almost all of my thoughts and posts through that daychat before posting here.So I’m inclined to think he is town.
For argument's sake, how much would teammates be able to say? "Hey! Don't draw attention. Just try to scum hunt like you were town." Would they really be editing and approving EVERY post?
No. I wouldn't expect every post. But with daychat available, I would expect scum to discuss posts where they were actually casting a vote
OK, I hear where you're coming from. Is that what happened last time scum had daychat?

I've only ever had nightchat as scum, but I don't think the QT threads are used so much. I would be surprised if there were that much coordination by new scum players.

Well this is a lot better than last time where I fell behind 20 pages after not checking the thread until lunch. Time to catch up and find out who to flip. And by that I mean ##vote bozo. I did it last time to start Day 1 and we eventually got the right guy, so I'm confident it'll we work again.

I guess the fact that nearly everyone is in a QT partly explains the slow pace so far.

But it does not explain our absentees.
"nearly everyone"? It'l like 4 scum, 1 3P and 2 PRs, right? Where's everyone else? Who posts that much in QTs?

for lack of posts. (day 1 stuff)
dargo wasn't even the lowest poster here...(ignoring the fact he's GMing). This is weird on many levels.

You seem to be anxious to vote, but not speak. Can we try a little more of allowing us to see into your brain? We are in the matrix after all.
Really?
Let's Get Dangerous. (don't know how to put gifs, or even if I can)
You ask, I will answer. I have been forthcoming.
I have even stated that some of my votes were to figure out the bot.
And when I voted for D'argo (thinking Farscape), they were. Since this is still day 1.

##Vote BunnyGo

I did just get to your "life story" post. And the statement that everything you're doing is based on the bot.

Are you thinking about what people are actually saying?

You've said you've played mafia before. Have you ever played pure vanilla no PRs and no scum powers?

Do you think my posts are trying to keep town from coordinating? Am I trying to make it hard to hear what I'm thinking? Do you think I'm showing knowledge I shouldn't have? Are you just trying to "shake things up"?

##vote Hamilton Brian

Feel like pretty much every read HB has given throughout the game has immediately been qualified by 'pretty weak' or 'might be wrong', and despite being called out for hedging earlier he's carried on regardless.

Other things of note:

- Jamie trying to PR read into RHK & ghug's jokeposts is 10x worse than the original posts were

- Not sure I really like BunnyGo's explanation for why he didn't complain about my layered plan last game given the level to which it wound xorxes up, and the fact that I don't recall Bunny commenting on it at all at the time. Not really enough to push on, but enough to make me wary of him here.

- For such an apparently experienced player, I'm a bit confused about how 90% of Nanook's posts have been about spreadsheets & meta and how essentially none of them have actually appeared to be geared toward finding the scum.

- Like Tom Bombadil's quickness to put therul on the townshelf

- Don't agree with damo being townread for 3P analysis, because whether or not it has any merit, coming up with mech solutions is by far the easiest way for scum to fake being townie.

- Similar to above, pretty much every post from BismarckAlive has either been about art auctions or what the virus should or shouldn't do, without anything looking like actual scumhunting. Another person to watch carefully.
I like this post a lot.

Except you do realize I wasn't in that game until it was over, right? I had 41 posts total and most of them were "what's going on?"

This reaction is skittish. Newbies tend to be skittish, so since I learned of your experience I've been more lenient in my mind towards you. But scum newbies are *especially* skittish...which tends to be why newbies get lynched early.
I am therul and I DO NOT approve this message.

Having done this a couple of times I find those who are new to a group do tend to get picked on early.
It is true no mater if they are town or mafia. It is the fact that the town do not know enough of the new player to be able to figure out how they are playing, and the new player is still trying to figure out the experienced players.

I have tried to lay enough of myself out in front to show who and what I am, so I do not get lynched Day 1.
Fair enough.

ND is impressively unintelligent. His style is to attempt to compensate for that by generating long, citation-heavy strings of meaningless garbage.

Actually, the nail in that coffin was someone falseclaiming MY PR role while I was unavailable at EOD...

but still, my try-harding as town seems to trigger people more than my more subtle play as scum.

ND is not in this game.

Why are people asking questions about ND?

Is this something do to with the time Bozo and Chaqa shared a bathroom with ND back in college?

Yes. Assuming you mean 15 players, 3 scum, 1 cop, 1 doc. (cop and doc may or may not exist). This is the first game I have played in a couple a years.

Honest answer, I think you are leading the town. Don't know if it is the way you play, or if you are trying to convince the town to follow you. If the later and you do pull it off, that would be a master play.
