i didn't know making a vote meant you weren't lurking. what does me not making a vote yet tell you? is it telling you that i'm scummy? why would me not placing a vote make me scummy? is it more likely that scum will make a vote within a reasonable time frame to blend in properly? is me not voting yet necessarily something scum would do?

It is possible that in a small game the mafia would not want to make any town suspicious of them early by voting for them, or risk building a wagon on their partner, and therefore wait to place a vote.

I can't expand too much on these reads; they aren't based on much.

Conversation between vecna/bozo stuck me as town-town and vecna/jamie I thought vecna looked towny.

I'm not sure about Jamie, and I misread him last game.

Flash seemed relaxed. Perhaps after his slip he could reroll scum and be gungho for redemption. I don't know, but it's nice to see activity.

Amongst the first-time players Minister seems genuine whereas Brian was evasive responding to my question about my wagon. I could get behind a Brian wagon, but would rather not day 1 a first-time player if it can be helped.

Bozo is just skimming the surface this game, dipping in a few times during the phase and reacting to or questioning things which he saw on the current page when he logged in.

He's making no effort to read the whole game even though the amount of activity is very low. For example he didn't post between pages 4 and 7. When he re-appeared on page 7, he only questioned or reacted to things posted on that page, nothing from pages 5 or 6 including a direct question which I asked him, that he ignored or did not notice.

As well as just apparently skimming the surface, there's no sign of Bozo's usual desire to investigate the mechanics of the game and use them to try to sort people.

Very unlike his usual self. He has been town the last few times I've played with him but something is different here.

Note for the new players:
This game is very low activity compared to a normal full game. Our regular games have 16 to 22 people in them and in such a game we'd usually be up to about page 30 by now.

That means there is less for you to read so it's easier to keep caught up, but it also means there is less for you to read so it can be harder to form an opinion on people.

You can help by continuing to participate, ask questions, comment on what you see.

The more you participate, the more the other members of town can sort you, which helps town as a whole.

Very little townreads to go around this game. I could maybe see minor reasons from flash/newguy that isnt brian to throw them some love, but overall this is pretty weaksauce

Perhaps I'm just grasping at straws. Durga's iso is light on anything of substance.

That's an interesting take. I wonder if "absence" lends itself more to "I don't want to say anything that will cause me to stand out" or "In a game this small I'll give myself away." Just thinking via typing. I am not sure I would agree.

What I found interesting was Bozo sending some press last night that offered some good questions or asked for clarifications in thinking. They then suggested that choosing someone (can't remember if it was me or not) was not a good reason to move off the Summit wagon. So I am going to go back, take a read through some of Summit's press, and see if that's a reasonable wagon to pull.
