If Evolution was true...

#1 Post by Fluminator » Thu May 28, 2020 7:44 pm

Then why haven't we evolved the ability to fly yet? That would obviously be an advantage and you'd think we'd have evolved that by now if it is true.

Checkmate atheists.

Thinking about it more, aren't gay people evidence for a God instead of Evolution as well?

I never know which threads will end up being quarantined into the political forum

I believe the qualification is anything remotely interesting.

Perhaps you need to look up occasionally Flumimator, there's people flying all.the time, in these neat flying machines. Evolution by means of natural selection takes a long time, even longer than getting from airport entrance to seat on aircraft & airborne. So we just built what we needed to fly.
I think it would be far more useful for a chap to know when a woman is ovulating as is the case with most mammalian critters to save on unnecessary inconvenience hardship effort and expense.
The ability to become invisible or visible as needed would be an advantageous attribute but we haven't acquired it yet from evolution or God

You say that, but there are people who worked in my old office who are pretty much there...

Evolution is a funny old thing. Less survival of the fittest, and more survival of whatever works. There is a certain beauty in its ruthless inefficiency. One wonders how a system whose foundations are short termism, consumerism, and waste could have possibly led to humanity that so highly values the opposite.

More importantly, are you watching the cricket? :-D

No, I've been naughty with Lovely Princess Estelle, and so has she with me as we've been watching the Tour of France . It's impossible to watch Cricket properly with LPE around and about, she asks silly questions and has an uncanny ability to distract a chap just when a wicket falls or at similarly important moments, for example,LPE will prance about in her alluring lingerie kit just when a chap wants to see if a new ball will be taken before tea. So I am making great sacrifices to please my feminine captors as do most chaps and I know we only very occasionally mention these great sacrifices we all make to satisfy, support, protect, indulge and pamper our feminine protagonists, yet it is somewhat perplexing that our ladies are incapable of staying mute for just one over, and they're six ball overs nowadays, not eight, so it's hardly that difficult, theoretically.
That'd be a worthwhile behavioural trait to encourage by natural selection, the ability of the females of our species to stay silent when their chap is trying to watch or listen to Test Cricket.

If men and women didn't create Gods and Deities then who did?

Why would they need to have been created?
