Yeah. Probably why in games where you are scum, scum gets lynched d1. I would never do that as scum. Me budding someone makes no sense because people would get suspicious of me if I made it to the final 3. It would make more sense for someone else to bus me.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:08 pmIt is literally the thing I would do as scum, and have done in actual games, and won those games as a direct result. Ask Xorxes. I did it to him.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:06 pmWe’re doomed.
If damo and I were scum you are saying that instead of voting Neph with 20 minutes left (and taking no heat for it because he was my counterwagon), scum Tom would vote him scumbuddu to potentially create two viable scum wagons. That’s nuts.
Damn RIGHT you're doomed, scumTom.

False. It was 5-3. One person (like xorx who was on Neph but also scumread me) could have switched and made it a tieJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:09 pmFalse.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:08 pmYou need to separate in your mind the difference between hedgy/low conviction and the impact of the vote. Obviously I switched off to make sure I didn’t get lynched. Don’t turn into worcej and scumread someone for voting in self preservation
By the time you jumped to Neph, you were no longer in danger.

If you think I was bussing damo and not in danger, what scum motivation would I have to move to town Neph?

I thought you were scummier then NepthysTom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 11:47 amI would love if someone actually would explain why they think I am scum.
I don't feel the sharpness on your posts that I usually see as town. You pushed Jamiet on a joke, you called me on faking a crumb, you called Xorxes on the Jamiet posting more as town, but you didn't follow with any of this pushes. It's like you were looking for small things to look like scum hunting.
At third point I have Xorxes and Jamiet higher on my scum list then you, but you are the sub if I am wrong on one of them. The third one is probably the deep scum.
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Well I've tried to get behind what has happened yesterday, after sleep and rereading it I might've overreacted, but I'm still looking at it.
There is one burning question there I want to get the answer to: bozo, how do you feel that Chaqa followed you voting on Nephthys? You were the one leading the Chaqa wagon (tied with Nephthys 3-3 for first place) and (given Nephthys changed the vote first away from Chaqa) changed to Nephthys, what are your thoughts on the matter?
Since I have to go to work and I'm running out of time:
bozotheclown - I've a very hard time getting behind him, there are things I like, things I do not. I'm leaning on scum here.
Chaqa - first: get better soon! second: I still have to sort this out, for now I get bad vibes from him, I still don't like the vote, scum-ish
damo666 - didn't like the low participation at the beginning, came around, a depper look can't hurt, for now I'm leaning town
e.m.c^42 - probably town
FlaviusAetius - I disagree with some of his statements (will get to that if I survive the night), there is very much filler, isn't doing much.
foodcoats - likely town
Jamiet99uk - a bit off at the start, seems to be the usual. More likely towny.
Rdrivera2005 - mostly the normal lurking RD, not too scummy, not too towny.
Tom Bombadil - I'm getting town vibes but there was one post that felt like trying to pocket me earlier, might be nothing.
worcej - need to have a better look at him, at the start I didn't like his posts, right now I'm feeling better about him, town-ish though thats on the surface, as I said, need to look at him when I have more time
xorxes - I don't feel too good about him, maybe that's just because of that exchange yesterday. Still, I see him as one of the more dubious characters in here right now.
I get the feeling, we might have a xorxes-Chaqa-bozo team ... hmm ... 3 scum voting the day 1 wagon ... that doesn't sound right. Maybe bozo is just innocent bystander or I got xorxes wrong ... shoot, I really have to go now, at least you have something from me, use it in case I die, good luck, if I survive, I have the weekend off, need to do some legwork then.

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Ah yes. Saying I’m not in danger and then saying I moved to avoid a tie are conflicting statement. If it close enough to tie, I’m in danger.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:15 pmTo avoid a tie and ensure his mislynch.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:13 pmIf you think I was bussing damo and not in danger, what scum motivation would I have to move to town Neph?
Second, I would never want d1 to end in a tie. Even lynching someone I think is towny is preferable, as I’m often wrong. And either way we gain info (so long as there are multiple viable wagons) it’s why you should never vote no lynch d1

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
You're the one insisting you moved because you felt in danger. I was simply responding to that. There is no inconsistency in my comments. Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Scum tend to low posting in general, I wouldn't say night phases specifically.
Who are you aiming this at? emc? food?

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
I don't think this is true with experienced players, maybe newbies. Most players keep the same post volume as either town or scum. The hard part is to keep the same quality.
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Well, obviously there will be scum players that post a lot. I have not done any statistical analysis, but in case someone wants to invest some time doing it, I would bet that the posting numbers for scum would come up on average rather lower than for town.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:44 pmI don't think this is true with experienced players, maybe newbies. Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
With all the full deductive reasonings that two hours of sleep gives a guy, gut feeling say xorx carrot tom seem scummy, which means they're prolly town PR, and towny seems jamie carrot rivera so they prolly scum.

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Coz I simultaneously townread and scumread him, depending on what mood you catch me in.
