I did it because the reaction test was not going anywhere anymore. Everyone was just putting on their "i have no idea whats going on act" and just voted purple.

He was giving everyone an excuse to just park their vote on purple without giving any explanation and it was hurting town rather than helping. It had to stop, and sooner rather than later.

Theres a reason Tom and Xorxes both agreed with me after that (that it was both an obv reaction test and that it didnt yield anything).

Heck, the only person they thought was suspicious through all of that turned out to be a town PR. It was a bad reaction test that was just wasting time.

No I agreed then and I agree now that it was a bad reaction test(all ones are bad, but this was particularly bad in reaction tests)
My question to you is
1) why didnt you just let tom do his thing? the day was not only a few hours old, surely it didnt cause that much of a problem to you, that YOU felt the need to put an end to it IMMEDIATELY?
2) why not say 'hey tom this isnt revealing anything, lets cut out the reaction test'

I let him do his thing for 12 or so hours. Nearly everyone had checked in by then. I DID let him do his thing. Then it had run its course and it had to stop.

Stop trying to make this into something it is not.
