Diplomacy Resources
Hello everyone,
Please use this thread to post your best Diplomacy Resources. Links to strategies, video analysis of games, wiki's about the game or anything others may find useful. Every once in a while we will move all the resources into this main post to make this easy to read.
Resources from WebDip:
http://tournaments.webdiplomacy.net/
(information on tournaments and the site hosting the Ghost Ratings)
Gunboat Quizzes: http://webdipquiz.blogspot.com/
School of War List: A list of most School of War games and discussion threads.
A Look at the Statistics of Diplomacy: An analysis of the statistics of each country, based off of webDiplomacy stats, written by Tru Ninja.
That analysis again: https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?cid ... 175D9F!176
And an Excel spreadsheet that goes with that analysis: https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?cid ... 175D9F!169
Full Disclosure Game 1: A game organised by Tru Ninja whereafter the players submitted their press to be compiled.
External Resources:
Diplomacy rules (good copy of the rules): http://www.stabbeurfou.org/Regles.php
(The first hyperlink on this page will give you a searchable and copiable PDF of the rules and the second one clarifies a couple ambiguities.)
Politics Order Judge (web-based adjudicator; no download or installation needed): http://gamesbyemail.com/Games/Politics/Judge
(You can turn it into a sandbox when using a computer. To clear the map and build your own scenario, click the "Clear board" hyperlink under "Other:" and then drag and drop the units from the white box to wherever you want them. To come back to a scenario you've created, copy the Permalink to the right of the board.)
The Diplomacy-Archive (a great site with strategy guides and much more): http://www.diplomacy-archive.com/
The Diplomatic Pouch (another such site): http://diplom.org/
(Most of its content is accessible from the Diplomacy-Archive. However, since The Diplomatic Pouch is now off-line, you will have to copy and paste URL's you find into the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.)
The Library of Diplomacy Openings (from The Diplomatic Pouch):

Visual Index to Stalemate Positions (from The Diplomatic Pouch):
http://diplom.org/Online/StalematesAtoY/visual.htm
The Variant Bank (variants of the game and articles about them): http://www.variantbank.org/
(Much of the website is now down, so it's best to navigate it using the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. Try starting here: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://ww ... tbank.org/)
Repository of End Of Game discussions.

Re: Diplomacy Resources
jmo1121109: Also, the "Repository of End Of Game discussions" link in your post is broken.
I also think that you should move the "Repository of End Of Game discussions" and "Swordsman's Journal (part 1)" up to the "Resources from WebDip" section.

A few hyperlinks that I had suggested for the External Resources should be updated:
Diplomacy rules (good copy of the rules):

The Diplomatic Pouch (the website is alive and well, but moved):

Visual Index to Stalemate Positions (from The Diplomatic Pouch):

Also, the webDip tournaments website has apparently moved here:
