xorx, what have you learned from your consistently underwhelming performances as scum?

Also, I note that Xorxes pegged Jamiet, Durga, and Vecna as scum in some of his few reads.
One of them, never all three together. One had to be the Deputy. I thought it was Vecna, but because Durga and Jamiet were so sure that Vecna was lying, I thought one of them would be the real Deputy.
well, guess that leaves me as scum folks

I certainly think Brainbomb has a lot of respect for Snowy. I could definitely see him pushing for a shot on Snowy
Yeah, but nobody was townreading him. Why not shoot ghug or Durga that are also strong players and are being more widely townread?
First off, this seems to presuppose that Durga and I are town, which is strange.
Exactly. If you're not, there's the answer.
Secondly it assumes that Durga and I are strong players, which is strange.
You're so modest.

Oh, wait, you mean youre not *both* strong players?
Thirdly, brain went into the day seemingly intending to lynch me, so clearly he thought it was possible.
Is there anyone brain didn't intend to lynch (or pretend to)?
It's either a cop read or a weird wifom ploy (or both). I really don't think there's much to read into there.
A cop read from the minimal shit snowy posted? Not plausible. A ploy from brainbomb I can believe.

@Durga, have you read the setup at all? I can't tell if you're really that clueless about it or if you're playing it up.
i'm literally too lazy to read set ups until like day 2

I changed my mind about that after Jamiet's flip.

Do you have any scumreads currently? Any townreads? Any thoughts that aren't about our truly fascinating game mechanics?

That I have to be less good as town so that I can fly under the radar when I'm scum.

Well, that makes your already meager list of scumreads even less useful... Your EON reads from Night 1 are so soft I want to make a toilet paper commercial out of them.

reedeer and bo_sox are my top scumreads at the moment, third could be you or rdrivera or nesdunk, mostly by POE. But we don't have a lot to go from since there was basically no day 2 and our scumflip was MIA on day 1.

Who are you scumreading (other than me if you are) and who are you townreading? And why?

No, but I think guhg is town.
At the moment, but I did scum read Brain too. I am worried that too many people scum read you. because I find that scum have many reading as scum and not many pushing for a vote. there are a lot trying to get you killed.

I'm pretty sure some of the people latching onto the "xorxes is scummy because he hasn't got any reads" bs are opportunistic scum, but they can't all be.

If I think xorxes is scum, I'd say Bo_sox bussed him on D1, leaving one of Ezio, bozo, and Durga. Ezio's was posting more on Day 1 than he usually does, but dropped off after Day 1. Maybe scum got lucky that Jamiet was the leading wagon, since with that theory, second through fourth places were scum, and he wanted to stay out of sight for a bit...

But Bo_sox is an old scumread, and I'm not sure it holds up. I'll check back in with an ISO tomorrow or so.

Durga just seems off to me. Which is not enough for a scumread.

Bozo's had some off ideas, like maybe the Jamiet wagon was all town. I find that unlikely, but bad ideas are more likely to come from town than scum, I think. I also view his handling of Brainbomb's demise as somewhat towny.

Nesdunk seems towny, if only for not making any stupid mistakes that newbie scum seem prone to.

Thamrick is iffy to me. I recall him trying harder in the last game.

Ghug seems townie to me. I get a better read on him this game than in previous games where he's been scum.

Now...

...quid pro quo, Clarice.

He said some things that I do not believe that he would be smart enough to say if he was scum. but no concreate evidence.

I think xorxes has a point about bo_sox calling reedeer a town clear being suspicious. Vecna was clearly the deputy, so a scum GUAK would be just as likely to claim as a town GUAK.

I both agree and disagree, I don't think calling reedeer a town clear is particularly suspicious. But I also agree with the second statement there. I also think it's a silly thing to pay attention to for both you and xorx

I would not have claimed Guak if I was scum (speaking as Simone who read the setup, not the one who is (was?) guak) that way it casts doubt on the validity of vecnas claim, and he might get lynched. I am not saying I think bo is town in any way, but I don’t think he is scum for what he said.

I'm still in Alabama and won't be back until late Wednesday or Thursday. The damage here is really bad and I've been asked to stay and help sort things out. GMs, if my multi-day absence is an issue, feel free to sub me out. I have more important things to tend to right now.

@Foxcastle, nesdunk14, and ghug: With the double vote and zero vote powers, D1 was at risk of ending in a tie. Did any of you consider switching your vote from Ezio to Jamie at EOD to minimize the risk of tie?
