Hyde doesn't win, but Jekyll does with town?
Anyway, there are so many nuances to this character, I think Jack is far more dangerous
Jack + scumbags, that's where we need to look
also I'm not sure if someone else killing a female will input a success onto Jack or rather that he needs to kill those ladies with his own knife

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Why I'm concerned? if someone else does favors to Jack by killing woman, he will receive his trophy more quickly which in turn means that town can't win once Jack gets his prize
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Mafia team 1 seems dangerous to me as they have an unstoppable kill.DemonRHK wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 6:06 amRaid night over. Another quick Ony + MC.
I find the J+H discussion interesting. Prior to any meaningful discussion I find myself in the claim and lynch camp, although maybe not D1.
So it seems there is an aggressively power scum team, and a utility powered scum team, then Hyde and Jack doing their shit.
Questions to open some discussion:
- Who does each player think is the more dangerous scum team on powers alone?
- What do people think of a Urchin claim D1? They would be able to confirm multiple roles at best, or hard force a power trade with scum team 1 at worst.
I find myself wary of rdr (Although I seem to always read him scum) over the mislabeling of the SK's wincon. I also don't like what I've seen of Bob so far. It's a shotgun of content spread with no intent or effect (And there were a lot of attempts in those few posts to be substantial)
Not sure about Urchin.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
damo, why are you pretending to be clueless? In that same post, Bob clearly mentioned that he wasn't serious about his claim!
also you saying rivera is part of hare because he was susp of you?
'IT'S YOU'
'NO, NOT ME, IT'S ACTUALLY, YOU'
damo

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Jekyll only wins with town, Hyde loses if town wins. So they can't win together.
The role description is pretty clear about that. Now you make me wonder whether you're being disingenuous here...

xorxes, I have a horrible memory and YOU KNOW THIS!
don't play games with me
when was I ever excellent at setup and mechs?
I'm a ping-pong when it comes to this, I forget details because the roles are intricate

From Jack PM that Jamiet posted on P1:
1. You have personally killed THREE female characters with your knife, by any point in the game.
So, anyone lynching or killing a Female is making Jack mission harder, it could even mean that at some point he can win only on his second condition.

Dr. Chakyll’s Log: 23rd of November, 1888
“‘Twas a dark and stormy night. Or, that’s how I imagined it. Camped out in a bed that was not mine own, feeling ill and under the weather from illness and my sister’s cat, I began to hunger.
“The craving had returned. Only one thing on my mind: Chipotle.
“Day after day I made the journey. Using all the energy that remained, loaded up with cold and allergy meds, and braving the cold desolate wastes of Pennsylvania, I trekked to Elysium. For it was there I would find salvation.
“Rice! Beans! Chicken! Veggies and Mild! And the glorious cheese to top it off. They render unto me a meal fit for a king, at the price of a pauper! This all-curing tonic clears me out, and I attribute my recovery to it foremost.
“However, my indulgences have had a side effect. Deep deep within, a malevolent part of me is emerging, and there is little I can do to stop it. I have heard reports of a strange being running late at night, in my clothes, with my face, and when he goes to Chipotle, and they ask if I want guac, he says ‘yes!’
“I write this to inform the town we must do everything we can do stop this dastardly Mr. Syde (of guac)!”
TL:DR I’m Dr. Jekyll

@vapor (and @xorxes) - why bother at all then?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 1:56 pmDeflection is the word you are looking for Damo. I might have hit something.
@rdrivera - I was clearly responding to Demon's question about which scumteam is more dangerous. You jumping on it is suss and jumping or my response to your accusation is even sussier (made up word). Now, we could carry this on ad finitum so I suggest this closes the matter. However, my vote on you remains.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Some people have a weird sense of humor. But we really should be asking him rather than speculate about it: @Bob, what was the point of your claim, and what do you make of people's reaction to it?damo666 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:25 pm@vapor (and @xorxes) - why bother at all then?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 1:56 pmDeflection is the word you are looking for Damo. You both seem overly defensive about this in my opinion.@rdrivera - I was clearly responding to Demon's question about which scumteam is more dangerous. I find new players always hating on Vecna's role playing for whatever reason, lmao.
Also, there's significantly less activity this time IMHO ##unvote

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
I think Jack is dangerous to all.
Jeckle should probably not out... the doc is obvious useful. Hyde's killing is almost random. The hyde power is controlled by someone outside the game, who will be reading... but not interacting. So stat wise he'll hurt mafia as a whole more than town. (Each hit he might make there could be devestating.)
Interesting that no one has suggested a no lynch.
@chaqa are you still in your own personal joke phase?

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
There's much less incentive to no lynch this one due to how many anti-Town roles there are. Hosu in RL mafia games tend to support no lynch so frankly I'm shocked he hasn't mentioned about it yetdargorygel wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:41 pmI think Jack is dangerous to all.

It is also quite complicated in London. I suspect that most folk are still working out the mechanics.Temasek22 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:43 pmThere's much less incentive to no lynch this one due to how many anti-Town roles there are.
