Can someone explain to me why this is only newsworthy for fringe left-wing websites?

If the 'tragic accidented' officer were something other than white would it be newsworthy? Or has the media in America simply become so cowardly and submissive to the established order that no journalist with a mortgage to pay is willing to go anywhere near it?

The right stopped caring about the police when they got arrested mostly on January 6, 2021.

If there was enough corruption in that department to allow that cop to be killed - there's enough corruption to keep the story buried.

It got more coverage after the family sued. There were lies told by officer at the scene where they tried to claim the attempted to revive that were proven false.
