Austin and New Orleans have been absolutely swamped with idiots running away from the product of their own idiocy on the West Coast and love nothing more than to tell us that we, the ones who built the places to which they were so attracted, don't know how to live our lives properly.

So maybe they don't score perfect on all statistics. Still, overall, they do better than the USA. But you just can't admit that, can you?

Norway is one of the few successful models of government-heavy healthcare systems, but that's not all to life.

Sweden and Denmark but not Norway.

Norway is a "paradise" because they are only 3+ millions but live on the biggest oil field of the North Sea. They managed this treasure at best but the results cannot be comparable with countries without such ressources.

Sweden model is more interesting regarding their State management model.

Switzerland model is also very interesting. It is not al all the same as Sweden on the economical point of view and for the social protection. But they don''t really have natural ressources and perform quite good.

I'd say that the common point that I see is that :
* people are proud of their country and to live there
* the economical situation has been good for a long time

Nobody talks about these but what about Qatar, Emirates or Saudi. As long as you are a citizen of the country. No democracy but super wealthy. What do people want ? Anyway here they clearly take benefit of their ressources.

The Arabian countries are wealthy, but not free.
Australia and New Zealand are very nice. For me, New Zealand tops Australia, just because it is not so hot in summer.
