Interested in a stupid idea? (You will be forever trapped)

Would six other players care to join me in a stupid idea? It is as follows: There was once a game, I forget the name of it, where a Turkish army was stranded in North Africa/Tunis. Every other center was occupied by a nation that was not its home nation, so no builds were possible. There were no other units on the map. As such, this game made it to the year 5000ish, I think, before eventually being drawn.
I'd like to recreate this madness. It would be a classic map, 24-hour phases, global messaging, 5 coin bet, unranked, 1 excused miss, open to all. All seven players (including me) would need to be willing to work together seamlessly to pull this off. This means that there is no "going for the solo" or going rogue against other players. This game would be purely and simply a joke. However, you would get to be a part of it, which is half the fun.
Eventually, we'll have to decide who gets stranded, which means they'll forever manage the game until NMRing. Then, the torch will be passed until someone fills in. Then the next, and the next, and the next, on and forever. The other players would be "there" but never have to enter orders, they just get to watch the fun.
Until then, we get a fun challenge - how on earth can you coordinate 34 units to destroy each other?
Please respond if you're interested in this stupid but hilarious endeavor.

I will take slot 7 but ONLY if the phases are set to 72 hours / turn, or longer.

I will consider this, but my concern is that as this game will take quite some time to sort out, 72 hour phases may stretch the game on for a long time

the moon ninja penguin has told me to join. It seems jamie beat me to the punch tho lol. If 72 hrs isn't possible I'll take the last slot (if it is then good luck Jamie and co.!).

Maybe it should be a live game with 5 minute phases

Okay. So I think Jamiet has first claim, but 3 day phases makes me nervous. I'd like the other participants to vote on the phase change or no

I don’t like 3 days a phase.

I'm happy with a longer phase length than that.
My issue is just that when the game gets into a very late stage and we just have to log in once a turn to enter no orders, it would be very easy to miss a turn if the turns were like 24hrs or something.

I would be fine with something like 48 hrs.
