Good day, I just created an account here and thought it would be fun to try a Chaos game. There were no open or new games so I created my own. After a few days, no one else has joined. Do players on this site like chaos, or is it a dead variant?

Out of curiosity I've tried spectating on several Chaos games I've seen in New Games but none of them filled.

I find to get a chaos game you need to advertise it in forum a whole bunch and then get lucky. Also have no excused missed turns and one day phases, or nothing gets done. But yeah, just get lucky.

Also if you're ever Tunis build an army.

Interesting. I do have 24h phases, but also 1 excused missed turn. I guess my best bet is to wait for someone else to start a game.

What happens if no one joins the game by the deadline, do the remaining nations become AIs or just standing armies? Or does the game just get automatically canceled?

Also is there a way I can cancel the game, or will my rr tank if I do that?

Game is automatically cancelled if there aren't enough people by the deadline, and you can cancel yourself without any penalty before the game starts (or once it has, cancels never effect your stats- unsure but it might even refund reliability if someone missed a turn already?)

Also be sure to make chaos games unranked- a few people might join if they know it won't effect their points- but yeah they happen pretty rarely because there's just so many people they need.
