I'm new so forgive my ignorance/naivety. I just want to play a game with deadlines every week or two but I'm overwhelmed by types of games and parameters I don't understand (like bets).

How anyone can play a game with 24 hours deadlines is mind boggling.

Are there any other dinosaurs out there who want to just play Diplomacy slowly?
