Ghost Rating Challenge 2025 - Gunboat Edition

Ok gang, with the success of the 2025 GR Challenge this year, I'm thinking that maybe it's time for a Gunboat Edition (TM)!

The idea is that we'll get a list of players who are interested and rank them by their Gunboat Ghost Rating Ranking. Then the first 7 highest ranked players play together, then the next 7, and so on. The goal is that you get to play with people of around your relative skill level.

I'm thinking that we do a few weeks for signups, then maybe the games start in early June. Each game can decide its own settings as far as phase length, scoring type, etc.

If you want to join in, add your name and your *Gunboat* Ghost Rating Ranking (position, not actual rating) to the list!

Rough thought was early June, if it needs to be later than the 1st that's fine.

If there's a lot of "I'd like to play but summer vacation" that turns up, then we can reconsider.

Hey, I just had a quick question, I love Diplomacy and I love the idea of these Ghost Rating Challenges but I hate Gunboat, I miss press and manipulating- I mean working with all the other countries. Point is, is there another Ghost Rating challenge: Press edition coming up at any time?

I wasn't planning on organizing one until much later in the year to potentially start in 2026. If someone else wants to do so (the organizing) they're more than welcome.
