Ancient Med Support Unit Rule Question

#1 Post by Gunfighter06 » Tue Aug 11, 2020 12:16 pm

Hello, quick rule question regarding the Ancient Med map. Can a fleet in Thebes provide support (such as a support move to or a support hold) for an army at Memphis? Thanks!

Indeed they can! The rule is that if you can move somewhere, you can provide support there. Due to the Nile, Thebes is considered coastal to Bayuda, Memphis, Alexandria, and Sinai, and can also move to the Gulf of Pelusium or Red Sea, much in the same way as Denmark on the classic map.

vDip has a map-connections tool that's always helpful to check out if you have any questions about how territories are connected.
