Site wide notices and game tabs

Hi,

As you've probably noticed webDip now has your game shortcuts up at the top of the forum like before, and will also display site notices from the main site in the forum: now you can browse around here while keeping an eye on your games.

It will also ensure that users banned in webDip are banned in the forum automatically, and your points counter is is up in the top left while I was at it.


It's done via a phpBB3 extension, and now that the nuts and bolts are there we'll be able to integrate in other data much more easily.


Please let me know if there are any layout glitches, if any of the icons don't look right or anything else.

It looks like the icons for order status indicators (possibly just the !! as it's the only one I have) aren't loading properly, nor are the game names colored by country. The pause icon does work.

Unfortunately, the icon from the game tab shows a missing file icon (as ghug just pointed out) and there are also layout glitches in the "Board index"/"Site News"/"Announcements"/"Home" area.

I see these issues on both Internet Explorer and Chrome. In the BlackBerry 10 browser, there are no layout glitches, but there is still a missing file icon in the game tab.

EDIT: It looks like you already fixed the layout glitches.

Looks awesome! The grey checkmark image (saved orders) is not displaying, but other than that it's perfect. I'm on Chrome.

And three tabs aren't displaying. I see 'blank' (which links to a game), Board Index, Site News, Announcements, blank (which links to the same game), Home, blank (links to that same game again) and the looking glass.

Edit: I'm also slow, because I did some stuff in between..

I only see it when it's trying to pull over game data. Otherwise, it looks normal.

Hmm, I'll take a look at those icons now. JECE I don't suppose I could get a screenshot? I'm surprised to hear you're having issues in Chrome as I'm on Chrome and it's looking okay.

Hey kestas, a while back I had added in 2 new top menu links for the new forum. To let people get to the new forum settings page. Looks like that got wiped out, if you have it saved could you add that back in? If not I’ll get it back up tonight.

Also seeing a new issue where all my games country color is showing as France blue despite me not being France in those games

No worries. Okay the !! icons should now be showing correctly without messing up the page. I thought I was seeing the same thing on my dev machine, but something weird was happening where a template file went missing and I'm not sure why..

Game colors should now be coming through also.

So can people please continue to report issues because I'm not sure what's fixed and what's not.

Hey kestas, it looks to me like saved orders (gray check) appear as !! even though orders have actually been put in.

This is nitpicky, but those icons are also too low in the boxes, at least on Android Chrome.
