Right, there is almost certainly a racist white guy behind RedHeadKid654 trying to troll us. The trolling is so ineffective that I'm surprised to learn that a human actually posted that nonsense, rather than a bot set up by a racist white guy.

I think that's not quite right.

Let's assume this was Ginge. From earlier conversations with him, it was clear that he was deeply interested in culture war issues and had built up a caricature of race-obsessed liberals in his mind. If that's the case, my guess is that this was a ham-fisted attempt to make fun of largely-imagined political opponents online (i.e., an attempt to "own the libs"), rather than genuine racism.

I drew the same conclusion that you did even before I knew that it was Ginge86. However, to me that sort of behaviour is clearly racist.

This is a racist flawed system. Diplomacy is racist it banned my account because they figured out my race this is dirty can anyone please help me.

FWIW... this player was given a temp ban for excessive (EXTREMELY excessive) missed orders.

His response publicly, with unfounded accusations, repeated across a number of forum threads, resulted in an actual ban.

You don't need to respond / justify yourself darg, unless he thinks you can tell someone's race from behind a screen he must be trolling

Came to see what's going on with some downtime alerts.. Looks like a Cloudflare issue, but seems to have fixed itself? Not sure if anyone else is seeing any issues

Mod responses like that are good PR, so that everyone else knows the claims were unfounded and that nothing shady happened.

It's like when you see a 1-star review bashing a restaurant, and then the owner replies by clarifying that the customer's story is total BS. That response isn't for the reviewer, it's for the people reading the review.
