Hello, fellow villagers.
Please nobody +1 in this game.
These rules are quite complex for a 13 player game.
I agree the soup is a bit broken.

I'm not sure I'm the right person to ask about meta, but here's what I think of each player:

yavuzovic - tunnels a bit, but is actually a pretty good scumhunter
worcej - a newer player, but plays decently
bozo - usually a low poster. I never seem to agree with his reads.
bo - played with him in a game or two back in the day. Experienced and talented, but not necessarily a town leader. His posts are usually to the point.
y2kjbk - also played a game with Y2k back in the day. Never been great as town.
Jamiet99uk - likes to talk, gets in a heated argument at least once a game. Is nicer when scum though.
ezio - gets shot day 1. That's about all I know.
vecna - played well as JOAT two games ago. Good town player
ND - a blander playstyle, hard to read.
damo - low poster, low activity.
DoubtingThomas - talks a lot. Aggressive. Tunnels.
rdrivera2005 - played a nearly flawless game against us two games ago as scum. Level-headed and analytical.
Squigs44 - best mafia player there ever was!

Hmmm.... most interesting. I am curious who we should Lump since we'll have no idea if a witch or villager got him, but also the power of Lump is not too terribly impressive either.

I am more inclined to not give it to someone who self-voted, so I am going with ##Lump Vecna - he seems to generally get lucky with scum hunting in Mafia, why wouldn't it work here 8-)

I would argue that actually the Soup is balanced because when it fails, it will reveal what the witches tried to claim another person as. Knowing what people are not is pretty valuable by itself.

Each correctly matched player DIES though. If the coven can narrow down several roles they can use the soup to kill several of us in a single night.

##Call.Gm.

I assume the Guardian Angels do not protect against the soup, is that right?

But if they screw up and don’t kill anyone and give town info it might be game over.

Read closer at the description of soup, because if they go for multiple attempts and one is successful but the others fail, the failed kills will reveal the witches name.
Thus, in practicality, only one attempt will be made at first and any further attempts could backfire badly.

I have been reading that post over and over due to last mafia's screw-up on my part lol...

I hope I’m better at scum-hunting when it’s not mostly loud VT’s yelling at each other.

I'm inclined to holster my lump vote until we get further into the day and I have better reads on everyone. If I were to vote on someone right now it would probably be on someone that is a quality scumhunter. Worcejs vote on Vecna falls into this category.

What do y'all think of Leeroy? It seems like that ability is probably useless unless you are about to die via softlynch anyway. Even that is tricky as you could hit town.

I don't particularly care about the noflip part of this setup because we have enough ways to figure out if the lynched person was scum, I assume we'll figure it out.
To that end it's better to have the lynch be ours rather than, essentially, a kamikaze vig shot.
It obviously isn't even a question unless Leeroy's the lynch target... RIGHT

I think Acolyte should give us a 5-6 names not including the priest, so we can have a suspect list for D1
Wouldn't this let the witches know who the acolyte is?
But also gives us a great chance. Prevents us from mislynching priest.
I'm still behind my idea. Also Acolyte isn't an actively contributing player, that's best they can do. Or they may give that pool to us at D2 so angels can protect them.
