To me, the xorx kill is suboptimal, which increases the chance maf wouldn’t think twice about more suboptimal plays, such a free townclears.

Provided that nobody counterclaims my role block, I think we know:

(1) I am scum, and scum holstered their RB; or
(2) I am town and scum thought I may be a PR

Is it possible that scum holstered their RB to try to give me Town cred? Yes, certainly. But that would be an odd strategy. I was not under much suspicion, and holstering a Role Block is a somewhat expensive way to try to give me town cred, when it is probably more likely to backfire and shine a spotlight on me.

Anyway, I'm town, and I was role blocked.

Right. I do not know enough about this game to do a read list, I'm going to need some time before I'm even close to understanding enough of what you guys are saying to properly interpret it. I also dont know how you guys play normally so I haven't got that to go on either. That said I do have some thoughts:

Firstly why are we so keen on lynching people early game? Surely as town we want to play for time early game which would mean preserving townie lives and gaining some time to properly examine how people are voting and responding to better gauge scuminess.

Secondly, Prado I don't know how you expect new players to act but I am not shy retiring violet by nature. I'm also not being coached, I'm still fumbling around and trying to figure out which end of this game is which. I think that's been pretty obvious so far which makes me wonder if you just reckon I'll be an easy lynch because I'm new. Let me say stupid things to make myself look like scum while you build up a small anti-Telamor posse. Get me lynched then when it turns out I'm townie just.shrug your shoulders and blame it on my being new. One townie down for minimal effort.

I dont think mafia sits on their RB to give scum!Balki cred when Ike is outed PR, unless Ike is also Mafia. I dont think Balki and Ike are both mafia, given Balki's voting and hard Ike pressure.

Well, I felt pretty certain that Ike was scum before the RB, so it doesn't change it much. I suppose that, if Ike is Town PR, scum would have had a large incentive to at least RB him as they would have considered there to be a high likelihood that Ike is Cop. I expect Scum are going to be hunting for cop every night until Cop dies. Cop is a big, big deal in this setup.

On the other hand, another reasonable approach for scum here, if Ike is indeed a Town PR, would be to ignore him and hope that Town lynches him early.

We're not going to do that. We'll let Ike hang out for a bit as we gather more information in time.

I have no idea what EoN is or what the deadline you're talking about was. As for my general lack of posting I've written two posts that didn't end up on the board because, being on mobile, I thought I'd hit submit but instead hit preview. You are insinuating that I have a far greater knowledge of this game than I do.
