To clarify a couple of my passes: The 2011 film "Hop" combines live action and animation. As for the time period when the Easter Bunny (originally "Easter Hare") first appeared: the first definite reference is from the 1600s, but it may (or may not) have developed from older pagan practices. (Also, the Wikipedia page on the Easter Bunny references our venerated friend Bede!)

sometimes passes give more information than a solid answer would, that was certainly the case with this round
