Right, and we have ruled out being in the US Cabinet or Supreme Court (you can check this if you want, but Kennedy was the only one who met the criteria). I am not sure if we are looking for someone who served in a federal administration, but not in a Cabinet-level post (like an ambassador or a Bill Moyers type), or someone whose political role is outside of government (like a television commentator), or something else completely.

Probably not. Like, if you knew he was in the navy... I'm not sure how that helps you figure out who he is all that much.
