Over 200lbs in weight?
is he equal to or over a fathom in length?
I can't answer either question with the resources available to me, so not answered or counted.
Born in an area that is currently part of NATO, Iran, Argentina, Lesotho, or New South Wales?
Yes.

1. Real human.
2. Currently alive.
3. Born in current NATO member, Iran, Argentina, Lesotho, or New South Wales?
We can therefore conclude that this person is not particularly noteworthy for being very small / slim, or being extremely large / overweight.

I looked it up and he/she has been featured in a TV program, but that's not what he/she is famous for and it would lead you down a wrong path to start guessing TV personalities.

1. Real human.
2, 8. Born since 1952. Currently alive.
3, 4. US citizen (either born or naturalized); born in current NATO member, Iran, Argentina, Lesotho, or New South Wales.
5. Not famous for political or military position.
6. Famous for being scientist, researcher or academic (but only in broad sense).

9. Has presented / hosted / been featured on TV program, but that is not what he/she is famous for.

We are at 9 questions. I'll drop ever better hints after 10, 15 and 19.

Hint: I think solving this one will be quite an endeavour. Finding his/her profession might not be so hard, but there are still so many people of that profession.

Is this person's title something other than "Mr."?
I'll answer that this way: this person HAS titles other than Mister. Whether he uses them is unknown and likely depends on what crowd he is in. Most people have multiple titles depending on context.

1, 11. Real human male.
7. Not known to be LGBTQ.
9. Has presented / hosted / been featured on TV program, but that is not what he/she is famous for.
10. Has written book but that is not what he/she is famous for.
12. Either born in a state with fewer than 10 congressmen, or not born in the USA at all
13. First name begins with a consonant.
14. Has titles other than "Mister".

Gah, I thought of someone but he doesn't quite fit.

Is he famous for his work on something related to computers or the Internet?

Hint: This one seems to be quite a challenger, and I'm not sure if its your destiny to get it. Let me say that he shares a name with another famous person.

Also, I'll clean up our list of known information, to update it with subsequently learned information:

Personal information:
1, 11. Real human male.
2, 8. Born since 1952. Currently alive.
3, 4. US citizen (either born or naturalized); born in current NATO member, Iran, Argentina, Lesotho, or New South Wales.
12. Either born in a state with fewer than 10 congressmen, or not born in the USA at all.
7. Not known to be LGBTQ.
13. First name begins with a consonant.

Occupation:
6. Famous for being scientist, researcher or academic (but only in broad sense).
14. Has titles other than "Mister".
15. Has a doctorate.

Not famous for:
5. Political or military position.
9. Being on TV (although he has presented / hosted / been featured on TV program).
10. Being a writer (although he has written a book).
16. Work on computers or internet (although I'm sure he used computers).
