You don't need to ask me. North America includes most, if not all, of the Caribbean islands. For the Caribbean islands that may be counted as part of South America depending on the definition, I would have refused to answer the question.

a) Our target is from Guyana, or Malta, or

b) Our target is from an English speaking minority in a country where English is not the majority first language.

I am inclined to assume it is option (b).

Sorry, I meant to indicate, countries in red have already been ruled out, either because they have specifically been asked, or because they are regarded as being in "North America".

What is the definition of being "from" a certain country anyway? Birthplace? Could be a diplomat's kid born in any country of the world.

I expect we're looking for a politician from Africa, either white or black. I have two in mind, so I'll ask the defining question: is this person black?

To the group: there are a lot of native English speakers in India (and Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc)
