How long does this day phase last?

When do people start saying stuff about alignments?
Hey there Balki

Seems like we've got another 36 or so hours to go, roughly.

When do you usually start saying stuff about alignments when you play?

ghug seems to be trying to mislead the group by providing false information or distracting from the real issues at hand.

Greetings fellow townies and some evil outlaws. Just forgot this game was starting on Sunday. At least there are only 4 pages to read.

And I will claim 100% confirmed vanilla town at first post just to avoid any shenanigans over this.

So do we scum read those coming right out saying their 100% Vanilla Town?

Do we town read them?

Or do we scum read those not owning up to being 100% Vanilla Town?

I know for a hard and fast fact that I DO NOT have a "prominent protruding jawline."

At some point I might read the PR roles, but those of you that have played with me before, you know how much I hate them.

Hey RDR, we're actually going to be in your area of the world in February. Taking a month to tour in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru.

steak
I want to know the cut and how you cooked it.
Ribeye, 2 minute sear on cast iron on high heat and flipped. Homemade compound butter, garlic, salt, black pepper. Finished for 2.5 minutes at 500 degrees in the oven. Topped with rosemary, basil, and a basic prime rib dash. Comes out rare internally (medium rare takes 4 minutes in the oven) and crusted like candy on the outside, but not dried out.

I always add a couple sunny side up eggs and a southwest style salad. Keto taught me that potatoes and steak are not as friendly of a combo as you think.
This sounds glorious.

Why are people so anxious to play the game, D1 is pointless until the last five minutes anyway
This was my thoughts as well about Balki’s statements. Felt a little too try-hard for the first ~8 hours of the game.

In my 20’s I would crush hydro’s up and put them in beer and just do nothing for hours.

I guess, to be semi-human, I hope your need for painkillers is not due to something incredibly significant.
There's a growing part of me that wants to try that shit and I need to finish them before that part of me wins.

Just got my wisdom teeth out, nothing too severe.
Man, percosets were my pleasure when I had mine out. Got all 4 done; wasn't yet 30 but close. One was stuck in sideways and NEEDED to go. Figured, why stop at one, especially when benefits would cover. But those percs...oh my. They were good.

Good quick healing to you!
Exact same situation as me - impacted means coming in sideways. I didn’t have to go up to percosets and just stayed at hydros.

Rio, Iguazu, and Buenos Aires. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and a chance to see the Amazon and Galapagos before...well, don't need to get apocalyptic too early in the game.

GM NOTE:

I have been asked to further clarify the role of the Civil War Veteran, and potential interaction with the Tough Guy:

1. The Civil War Veteran is not listed in the Order of Night Actions because their "power" is not an action and it does not have to be activated. Instead, it is effectively "always on" and causes the CWV to start blasting as soon as anybody visits. Assuming the first visit the CWV receives is at night, he will keep blasting all night and will shoot all visitors.

2. The Tough Guy is immune to the first gunshot he receives. This can confer immunity to the Civil War Veteran, assuming the Tough Guy's protection has not already been used up at the point of visiting the Civil War Veteran.

3. Finally, note that the Civil War Veteran's reflexive blasting is not a protective power. If someone attempts to kill him, and this causes the CWV to start blasting, both the CWV and their attacker would die.

Rio is incredible but you need to be careful where you go. Iguazu is beautiful, but with not so many things to do. And Buenos Aires is also great with many things to see.

If you want to see Amazon I recommend Belem, it's a great city with an incredible culture and the food is fantastic. And you can see the forest and the rivers

Kinda my story as well, though the painful one was halfway erupted. Probably should have done it ten years ago, but at least I have my own insurance now.

We're on a package tour so everything is pretty well laid out for us except some downtime in a few of the locations. We got it at half-price last spring because all the work to plan out our Southeast Asia tour was immense. Someone else is doing all the planning, it's half-price, and it's 28 days? Sign me up.
