Is he from Star Wars, Star Trek, or a superhero story/franchise?
Can you make more question more objective?
It's chaqa's question, so he can clarify how he wants, but this might be helpful.

Is he from Star Wars, Star Trek, the MCU or another Marvel-inspired production (i.e. Toby Maguire spider-man), or the DCEU or a DC-inspired production (i.e. non DCEU Superman or animated films), or another film or TV series centered around superheroes (i.e. The Boys or Watchmen)?

Wouldn’t it feel better just to give up and ask me to tell you? Instant gratification.

I interpret this as: did he originate in a work of science fiction or fantasy?

Yes

Is he covered in fur, scales, feathers, or metal? (i.e. furry, scaled, feathered, or a robot)

I find this question difficult to answer generally. Depending on how one defines these terms, this question would include almost all fictional characters or none, and I don't want to define it for you. Can you rephrase the question to make it a bit clearer what things fit in "yes" and what things fit in "no"?

Let's invert it.

Do they have skin that is mostly similar to a human:
- natural
- fleshy
- color can be w/e

So like an elf, dwarf, Yoda, Klingon, all would count as a yes

Yes (10)

Halfway there. Have you really learned anything at all?

This is what you chose to learn with your questions:

1. Not real
2. Primarily known for appearing in video-based media (Movies/TV/Video Games)
3. Not human
4. Male
5. Not primarily from video games
6. Can speak
7. Not animated
8. Not from Star Wars, Star Trek, MCU or Marvel inspired production (i.e. non DCEU Superman or animated films), or film or TV series centered around superheroes (i.e. The Boys or Watchmen)
9. Originated in work of science fiction or fantasy
10. Has skin that is mostly similar to a human (natural, fleshy, not meant to be limited by color), examples that would qualify include an elf, dwarf, Yoda, Klingon)

* May or may not be Rick Grimes or creature inhabiting Rick Grimes's body, as nobody has asked that question directly

Because the questions are coming so slowly and I smell fear, I will draft some model questions for your consideration:

1. Is it a demon life force inhabiting Rick Grimes's body that originated from a religious text that predates the birth of Christ?

2. Could I fit it in a primary school gymnasium if it scrunched down real small?

3. Does it rhyme with "Schmalien schminhabiting schmody of Schmick Schmimes?"

4. Is it afraid of bats?

5. Could I buy one at Home Depot?

6. Would it win in a fight against seven well-trained, hungry meerkats?

7. If I put it in a steel colander, would it ooze out of the bottom?

8. Could I order one at a hipster coffee shop?

9. Is there one at the top of the Empire State Building holding a woman in a sparkly evening gown right now?

10. Is it the Hamburgler?

I figured you'd ask this. Is this character a main protagonist or one that works with the main characters throughout the story, without including characters that betray the main characters?

I don't think you mean "the story" to exclude anything, so I think I should interpret this as:

In at least one work of science fiction or fantasy, is this character a main protagonist or one that works with the main characters throughout (excluding any non main protagonist that betrays the main characters)?

If that is what you meant, I'll answer.

Another point of clarification, that may or may not be significant: I have always considered the McDonalds 1986 Hamburgler television commercial to be "a work of science fiction or fantasy," as I'm sure you all do too.
