Wild guess: Mike Myers
Would debate whether or not Myers is better known for TV Series (SNL) or movies, but I like it anyway. A lot of the other SNL'ers that I thought of (Spade, Sandler, Ferrell) have that same problem. There are a couple of others that crossed my mind, like Jerry Seinfeld or Jason Alexander, but they're both too old (although, again, Alexander was born in 59 - so close!)
Please read my clarification of “primarily.” For someone like Myers, he would definitely fall into the LeBron example. I’d say Myers was primarily known for movies AND primarily known for TV series. And agreeing that someone is primarily or mainly known for one thing does not mean they are primarily known for only that thing.

I am clarifying this because your comments suggested a different understanding than I presented in my definition, not because this has any bearing on my person. But I have not answered any questions about whether my person is better known for one thing over another thing. That question would be pretty subjective anyway.
Good points - I did read the Lebron thing... That'll teach me to post right after waking up.

Did this person appear as a main cast member of a television show or movie that was released in the past year?

Apparently that's some teen girl magazine?

Odd that correlates to an actor over 42

Google says that was a 1960s and 1970s teen idol magazine.

Hmm.

It was pretty popular in the 80's as well. My best guess right now is this was probably somebody who a teen idol from an 80's sitcom.

My lack of a better idea and for the sake of getting my free guess in before we hit the last question i'll go with ..

..errr, John Stamos? 🤷‍♂️

I was thinking of this person last night but wasn't sure how old they were and forgot to check, but the Tiger Beat clue reminded me.

My free guess: Scott Baio.
Born *in* 1960, not before.
_Happy Days_ & _Charles in Charge_, both comedies, both very well known. Seems to have frequently graced the pages of Tiger Beat. Did voice at least one animated character.

I retract this guess, missed Q 20 about the past year. Nevermind.

Based on iMDb, it appears that Mr. Baio starred in the 2021 smash hit: Courting Mom and Dad. Not quite within the last year. But I'm adding it to my Netflix queue.
