RULES!

So it's a real dead European man who wasn't an entertainer. Not many books have been written about him.

So he is presumably not a military leader, not a major political figure, and not a mass murderer or other major criminal - because all of those sorts of people get books written about them. But he's not an actor or a popular musical artist either.
