Ok I haven't read the set up again. Is this role madness?

Sadly, I have to take note that the peasantry in this country is once again in uproar, as their mundane minds cannot fathom the tribulations and burdens of true leadership.

I have traveled to this abysmal rock to find that rare breed of man, that will be capable of keeping the IMPERIAL PEACE. The ancient oracle appeared to me in a dream, and stated that this part of MY empire is on the brink of rebellion. Several of my insignificant subjects have apparently taken it upon themselves to try and wrest control of this part of the empire, and insert themselves on the throne.

Let there be no mistake. It will be up to me to choose from your pitiful warring factions, a true champion, capable of ruling this swamp according to TRUE ROMAN standards.

Now, I shall begin my task of observing whether such a man exists amongst this paltry selection.

Your Imperial Highness
Julius Ceasar

##vote Vecna

Honestly, I should buddy you first, and then vote for you for thematic points, but I'm just going to cut to the chase.

I interpret Vecna's answer as a little bit more than, "Don't worry about it." He pushes his role. Perhaps the Gods spoke to him and told him that HIS role can be claimed without mishap.

Or perhaps it is suspicious, and a fishing for claims.

In the prologue (signup) thread, I find woven the concept that claiming is not... advisable...

I see no reason to risk benefiting scum at this point by claiming. EVEN claiming that perhaps "Julius" is not the only person entitled to rule.

I do not consider Julius my sovereign. Far from it.

What do others think about claiming? Dangerous? Even when it MIGHT be 'good' for an individual, isn't the potential scum-benefit reason to keep our names to ourselves?

Why people are voting randomly? That's terrible.

Me too, it was the only way for me to reread people. I hate reading tons of message at the thread.

And I don't feel good so I won't follow the thread much.

Game started yesterday at 10 right? So we have one more day by my reckoning.
As of substance, all that has happened is Julius ceaser claim, and I tend to believe it at the moment. Unless his rolebenafits from claiming, but I thaught that as brain made it seem like there would be none of those roles.
Basically I think he is real is because I have no reason not to believe him at this point, but if somthing comes up I would not be far from thinking it is a wolf strat. (Brain is fond of those, and he wouldent be past putting a mechanic to force it)

Not having the bot will limit a lot my play, the site is blocked at my work but the bot not, so I usually take a look at bot and use phone if In need to write something. Without the bot I will have even less time to play.
