My top four scum reads are tom, bona, wolfu, and I dunno. I do not know how they line up with my ‘predicted’ scumchoices. I was tunneling yesterday, and most of it was omgus of a sort. As I mentioned before, brain usually reads me right, so his reading of me seemed a scumtell.

I should have changed my vote yesterday. I did not like the top wagons, but I had no proof of their towniness. So I was guilty of what frustrates me about others in this group: unmerited strong view. I might have ‘saved’ worcej, because I would have voted for bona, unwillingly. (My view on bona has changed since then. The awkwardness might be a sudden scum decision to set up the option of a fakeCC.

I felt town vibes from bozo on D1 but brain is making reasonable points about a lack of contribution to solving and so I want to see some action from bozo on D2. That makes him a scumlean to me for now, downgraded from a townlean after D1.

Tom, this is the first time I've ever played with Tom. Seems nice. Had some good interactions with brain and wolfu on D1. Has taken off most of night which is a-ok with me. Neutral on Tom.

Demon, to be honest I've been treating Demon the way I sometimes treat Eden when Eden gets in a fight with someone. Mostly been skimming his posts, especially whenever he and Rumi interact. Just seems...vapid. This doesn't mean Demon hasn't been contributing, just that his contributions don't mesh with me right now, I guess. Neutral.

bo, well Sabi is 100% accurate that bo is trying more and being more aggressive compared to last game. The big question is, is this because he's town and is acting naturally now, or because he needs to change up with scum game since he would be scum twice in a row?

Putting aside meta-analysis, him asking me about exempting rdr was good, him talking with wolfu about readlists was good, his EOD vote movement from me -> rdr -> worcej in the last minute is a little weird? But it is consistent with his post at -00:37. So if anyone is going to be suspicious of bo's voting, they have to be suspicious of all of bo's contributions.

how did everyone get into mafia? and what do they like about it?

For me I first played with Jesuit priests in 2003. at the time I was at a retreat for people interested in the priesthood. hard to imagine but I was instantly in love with the game. 20 of us on a big porch, priests included, playing face to face mafia with minimal roles. after this I started throwing mafia parties and inviting people over. every thanksgiving id play with my whole family. Years later I started playing resistance with people on fridays.

flash ahead to 2015 living in missouri teaching art at missouri state university I got hooked on forum mafia.

someone complained about a mafia thread on the webdip discord and i just looked into it and signed up

the roles don't matter until way later in the game - they largely change what scum know/can do, as i figure it, and not what we can do in response, because we can't figure out roles until we actually flip scum (ie, when that information is dramatically less useful)
