somewhat second this, because I imagine scum are actually more inclined to be active this game due to the N0

interesting. what have you learned about bozo?
people have informed me repeatedly he does the survey stuff as either alignment and so it has made me more cautious with my read of him, additionally i look around the game and see more people that are towntelling than not and it moves him down in my estimation given i've only seen him do the survey (and the points about it being a potential time waster kind of stick in my mind)

to agree with brainbomb's assessment of his play as each alignment, you necessarily have to know damo's alignment
no, that's not how this works

brainbomb said damo as town is annoying and hunts in (what he perceives as) antitown ways

at that time as i'm discussing these reads damo comse in with some posts about how the survey will be illuminating but he's not going to explain why yet and we need to force people to participate

he's talking like he's doing a magic trick and doesn't want to reveal the surprise to the audience just yet

which seems to me way more like a town who is self-absorbed with some idea they totally think is great even though i am dubious of its usefulness

This strikes a chord with me. I did some shit like this a while back and nearly swung for it.

This automatic end is shaking me up more than the 24hr day. Gotta be careful yeet wagon if people.
With 17 players the yeet is 8
Wouldn’t it be 9?

In fairness he forgot last game started until about D5
I think it was more he didn't have time until D5. I remember this whole promise to tiebreak a D1 vote he didn't keep. Not because he forgot, he totally remembered the game was a thing, but just didn't have time. Rdr from my limited experience seems like someone who has a busier schedule than the rest of us.

I'm a little reluctant to wagon Damo D1, because while I admit I'm probably not seeing what everyone else is, I don't feel anything conclusive from him.

Oh right. These points are semi-related. The EOD tie rdr couldn't make it for killed Damo.

5 pages of reading and I am feeling like Tom is town. I’ve honored the memory of our king long enough.

OMGUS for bozo.

wandering back up to the present from page 15 or wherever I was, thoughts:

- I like brainbomb's energy

- @Neon +1 to what Sabi said, bozo surveying is NAI imo
- but I like bozo's survey and I think it's useful
- I think the way that bozo has been following up with questions feels genuine, as in they don't feel like trick questions or traps to try and get a wagon or a miskill on someone

- Neon seems to be acting pretty similar to last game but also claims to act basically the same as town/scum so idk, probably NAI
- That said I don't feel like Neon is pocketing Rumi, but maybe that's because of my impression of Rumi from last game (very nice, but overthinks too much to be easily pocketed, Snowy did a great job though)

- Neon hating on the "mech talk" so much feels towny because why would scum take such a strong position so early on that might rub a lot of (webdip) people the wrong way? that said I love mech talk 8-)

- @sabi, I believe damo when he says does not want to die D1, last game (M75) he died for being afk so like this might just be a reaction to that death and him wanting to play this time

- I feel like I'm confusing damo and darg's names a lot
- +1 to don't post about "vote lurkers" if you're not willing to put up your own vote
- 0% of me wants to kill damo again D1 but y'all are correct about gambler's fallacy

townleans:
- brainbomb
- bozo
- Neon (stronger than the others because of hating on mech talk)

I agree but maybe it would be more extreme in either direction. Even more posting in order to seem engaged + even more lurking than a normal lurk. Whatever that means, idk how to lurk more than just not posting.

To be clear. No shade to RDR as I think he's behaving pretty normally. Last game he posted more on D1 but that was because he showed up for EOD, iirc, as I expect him to do here too.

the rdrivera thing brainbomb pointed out feels like a token scum move, to go back and re-use an opener faking not knowing the game started. not sure i'd want to yeet someone over it on day 1 though

doesn't really feel like day 1 of a 17 player game so far, some of that probably owed to 4/17 having almost no content, some of it probably due to the shortened phase length without added urgency

honestly would wager 1 scum at most in the 0/1 posters (hellenic/CFox/bo_sox/rdrivera) but that's a blind guess.

didn't really like how dargory responded to pressure at all
How do you have a read on everyone but one player within 24 hours of game start

Yeah, I can see either side here - just stating my own opinion that I would expect scum to be more active then lurk

i'd figure there'd be some differences - last game you were scum in an unfamiliar environment, this game you know most people at least somewhat

i'm confused about you feeling a need to throw out information?? why would scum decide you need to die by now?

egopost, ignored
Oh no I meant I'm gonna get voted out by like d3 lol
are you scum?
