The best I can gather of that EOD is:
  • ghug forced a tie with ~15m to go, which indicates wanted ties to go fairly close to EOD to see who might flinch, but ultimately wanted to break the tie in favor of Byz. He saw a 5-5 tie at ~2m to go when he placed his vote on Byz. When he saw Vecna tie the vote, he flipped over to damo to counteract the tie, and got stuck there because it was too close to EOD.
  • Vecna may or may not have wanted to see how ties would go, but ultimately wanted to break the tie in favor of damo. He also saw a 5-5 tie at ~2m to go when he placed his vote on damo. He didn’t see ghug’s vote on Byz, and upon realizing he had tied the vote, he flipped to Byz. Upon realizing ghug flipped and thus the vote tied again, he flipped back to damo, which stuck.
  • pyxxy waited til way too close to EOD—literally too late, though I buy that he didn’t know it—to move at all. When he did, he moved to Byz.
I’m sure some of this has been discussed already while I was cleaning up, so if this is a duplicate question feel free to point me to your response. But:

ghug: Not that I mind, but why Byz?

Vecna: You indicated at least some level of consideration of the idea that Bona was busing Byz. I’ll set aside the probability of that for now and just ask the same question I mostly asked before: if that’s so, why not move to Byz, who is mafia in that theory? As best I can tell, you believed you had the opportunity to break the tie when you first voted damo, and you were at least considering a Bona-Byz team.

pyxxy: What took so long to move off ghug, and again not that I mind, but why did you ultimately land on Byz, given that you previously expressed a desire not to vote out newbies D1?

I'm serious, if scum means being coached through putting on a fucking dog and pony show act in which I deliberately pretend to be the stupidest person out there instead of legitimateley ignorant, I'd rather fucking die.

You might have legitimately been slow on the refresh, but your behavior also looks exactly like what scum trying to increase the chances of a tie would look like.
If I'm scum then why don't I just have two of my fabled tabs open, posts pre-written, and not fuck up posting too late like I have in all of my previous games?
ghug wrote:

Here, lemme help you: my first vote for damo also caused a tie.
Yes it did. Your point? Are you saying that you purposely kept trying to re-tie the counts after each move in the last 10 minutes?

Aren't nametags only switched at night kills?
According to the setup, its all visits apparently.
Oh
If only there was some kind of easy-to-read four page document where all this information was presented so that players could understand the rules of the fucking game that they are supposedly playing.

Well, it certainly doesn’t have to mean that. I don’t really think coaching happens the way people talk about it.

This inception-tier lying is too much stress for me to pull off. (and lowkey is like shit my ex did to me) If this is what it takes to be scum I'll withdraw any game I roll scum instantly and let the backup take over.
Do not do that.

If you sign up for the game, you owe it to *all* the other players to at least attempt to win for your team, whichever team it is.
This much lying is too much stress for my mental health. If that's expected for scum, I really don't think I am capable of playing that role.
Then, when that time arrives, try playing scum the way I like to play it - by telling as few lies as possible.

It's possible to be scum and tell the truth. Not the whole truth, of course.

Well, if it doesn't actually go with that, then combined with me instantly believing Chaqa when he dropped his nametag, then it revealse something about me I've been trying to avoid revealing because it makes me way too easy to manipulate.

Despite my rampant suspicion of like, everyone. I'm also super super gullible. I take things at face value even when by all logical reasoning I probably shouldn't. As you've seen, I tend to get more suspicious when people are actually nice to me.

I had time at -00:03 to write out my reasoning here:
pyxxy wrote:

I've thought about this more and actually, damo really does seem completely afk and given the timing it doesn't read as intentional to me.

lone votes:

celaph (1) Princess Neon (AFK)
Jamiet99uk (1) rdrivera2005 (AFK)
Bonatogether (1) Vecna
Chaqa (1) bo_sox48 (AFK)
ghug (1) pyxxy

@Vecna, either you or me needs to pull off our personal validation wagon and head somewhere else. Would you want to head to Byz with me?
I was the one who first brought up damo probably not knowing that he was a wagon:
pyxxy wrote:

Unrelated to current thread topics, I don't think damo knows that he's a top wagon

last post was 9h40m ago and Celaph voted damo at 9h24h ago
so it was always on my mind, ultimately I felt that was enough to get over voting for a new webdippee

My EOD decision ignorant about any possible damo PR, to darg's point:

I thoughtbof it earlier, and figured damo would come in. Then i didn't think of PR things. Stupid

Also, i wonder why no one though of that as the deadline approached..
On any wagon.
I didn't either but also I figure people might trend towards being afk when they're not a PR? Or not scum being deliberately gone?

Evidence against this point:
when I missed the deadline and got DK'd as cop in my previous game :(

Sorry I'm town. You don't have to believe me. But I am.

Chaqa doesn't believe me. And that's why he's the only person I really think might be town.

Because I was stating how if I was scum I'd resign, and you immedaitely thought you were replacing me. And also most people seem to think I'm town. ANd that makes me kind of lowkey distrust most of them

I find damo pretty readable as the game progresses, Byz had at least one post I found smelly, and "not around to claim" should never be used to give anyone a pass but is fine as a tiebreaker.
