Somewhere in the middle of the scale.

Sabi is intelligent and articulate, and very keen to participate, but also sometimes makes impulsive decisions which may have benefited from more careful consideration, and is not immune from making mechanics related errors.

For the most part, I think your points about how Snobyz was wrong are subjective. I don’t hold them as entirely inaccurate like you do.

I think I'm tentatively putting snowy in my town pool. It's hard to see that EoD having a scum on the block unless we had some very specific teams.

We crossposted, but I genuinely don’t think people were reading my exchanges with Byz. The people who indicated they were (Bona, Chaqa, Rumi, Jamie) are coincidentally all the ones who locked onto Byz and never wavered.

I think you're stuck in a tunnel. Byz didn't avail himself well late in the day, but nothing that suggests he absolutely had to be scum as opposed to distracted town with an ego problem. I imagine you have more specifics on why you feel that way in your wallpost.

Who are plausible partners for Byz? I struggle to see that EoD stagnation as scum v town. Vecna and I are realistically out. Probably pyx too. You're basically saying his teammates were:
a) bussing, but the only people pushing him memorably were you and Jamie
b) voting damo but not advocating it at all, which to me means just Sabi or darg
c) absent, which maybe you could argue was rd avoiding EoD but I think really j just means bo

In full disclosure I’m probably still going to start by trying to hang snowy if I’m alive tomorrow, but I’m way less confident than before because I’m seeing ghug’s point about Byz not needing to be mafia. I think that slot has a decent chance of flipping mafia and would tell us a fair bit about D1, plus I would hate for snowy to get a total pass to coast.

Relatedly I am having a lot of difficulty processing Sabi and Neon… without dredging up previous fights, let’s simply say that my expectations for how townies should react to things do not seem calibrated to how they would react to things, and that my instinct screaming at me to hang them might be misplaced, and I haven’t worked out how to navigate that yet.

Darg has felt kind of “above the fray” to me, not in a sanctimonious way or anything, but that he’s managed not to comment in depth on a lot of the key events in the game and commit to positions. Not necessarily mafia indicative, but certainly where I might expect him to be as mafia.

Bo looks good. Rivera has passed all the questions thrown at him, and has had a couple of decent insights, so he’s probably good too. Kind of leery at Chaqa’s lower investment level but nothing serious, just wary. ghug seems fine.
