You've played Mafia before. What do you think happens if the dayvote is tied? No one dies.
As stated, and then clarifed, the eldest wagon at the tied votecount would die. If th deathbomb is at 5, and 3 wagons at 4, the wagon that had 4 votes first dies.

I think I kind of ended up here by accident, but this looks kinda interesting. So I'd like to join, if I'm allowed I guess
I've never played mafia personally, and I can't remember the last forum I actually participated in, but I understand the general idea.

You are welcome to join. The game begins tomorrow. Please just try to show up and check the thread a few times in every 24 hour period. The main thing new players struggle with is the volume of posting. That said, we're glad to have you with us.
