As the proud guesser of Game #2 couldn't be arsed, I proudly take up the challenge of choosing a distant relative for you all to guess.

The rules again are:
1. Only yes/no questions may be asked, although answers may deviate from yes and no if I so wish
2. If the answer is unclear, questionmaster may clarify why if he can be bothered.
3. Guesses do not count against the total. Because of that, only one guess is allowed after all 20 are up.
4. Please choose people/movie/TV/literary/video game/obscure relatives that, if you were to throw a nuke out the window, at least some people irradiated would know this person.
5 At any stage the questionmaster may give clues in order to help or hinder the masses. At no point will the questionmaster lie.
6. Whomever guesses correctly takes over from the previous questionmaster. If they do not want to do it, they may choose who to pass the duty onto or just give it to the first volunteer.
7. If the questionmaster remains undefeated three times in a row, on the third time they must either pass it to a person of their choice, or the first volunteer takes over.

This person is Mrs Oct's 2nd Cousin. The sort of family member you only meet at large family gatherings

So in the spirit of yes/no, the answer is yes

As a bonus clue and to spare you a second guess, this person is not a Bruce

So that establishes this person as a real person, who is presumably currently alive, and who is probably from the UK or at the very least, from a Western country.

Next question (and then I'll wait until someone else has a turn):

Is this person a public sector / government employee?

Oh, wait, I just caught the last of the exchange in Thread #2, so I was not up to speed that we really are guessing Oct's cousin. I retract my question.

Whether or not the musings of another thread can be taken as entirely accurate here I can neither confirm nor deny .

Yes. Although recognition will depend somewhat on where in the UK you live and, naturally enough, your interests.
