well, thanks for the game ... I feel frustrated. We couldn't turn it around since macca left at the end. Not a reproach or something like that, school/work/life has priority of course, but a little sadge that it was doomed anyway.

On the bright side, I guess I can say that bona can read me very good and I should keep that in mind, it wasn't a pocketing thing anyway.

Hi everyone.

Following my angry outburst at Maniac and my totally reasonable removal from the game I would like to say a few things.

I am sorry for getting so angry with Maniac. I am aware this is not the first time something like this has happened. That was my fault, obviously. I think that I am a nice person most of the time. Yet for some reason I get so heavily invested, obsessed even, with Mafia games that sometimes I apparently find it hard to restrain myself when certain things happen in them.

One of the things that particularly triggers me is the kind of deliberate non-participation that Maniac has displayed in this game. 95% of the phase he is simply absent. He does nothing. He does not post. He contributes naught. The other 5% of the time, he trolls, posts about inconsequential things, slyly and facetiously insults the other players, and that's all. Almost nothing he had done in this game, up to the point of my angry outburst, could be described as "meaningful participation".

This is toxic conduct and is, in my view at least, totally contrary to the spirit of the game. It upsets me to the point that I become genuinely angry, as you have seen. It insults the other players. It spits in their faces. It declares their efforts to participate to be worthless. His conduct is a clear and explicit breach of Rule 9 for which he must be sanctioned. It is cheating, pure and simple. It is a basic violation of the rules. To fail to enforce Rule 9 is to allow people like Maniac to destroy the game and render it unplayable.

I want to make it clear that I will never play WebDip Mafia again unless Maniac receives some form of sanction, be it a ban or a warning, for his conduct in this game. Some of you may be delighted at the thought of me never playing again. So be it. From my perspective after 24 hours of sober reflection, I was justified in my contempt for his behaviour, but I grossly over-reacted in my response, and I am sorry to everyone else for that. I should have left it at a private complaint to the Council, and not raged at him in public. That was wrong. President Eden was right to sub me out.

I apologise to Eden and Ghug for giving them an extra headache to deal with.

It's not your fault. Maniac was on your team and he was actively working against you from the start.
