For D1: There were two parts of it if I remember correctly. One was that damo started posted a lot more and something about it made it feel more townie. The other one part was that Maniac felt a lot less townie after he voted me out of seemingly nowhere. I was pretty wiped at EOD1 and typically I don't like second guessing my first instinct (which is that Damo was scum), so I stayed on him. I only switched to Durga at the end because Maniac switched to Damo which I thought was potentially going to lead to a tie. Considering that I had a mild scum lead on Durga (all my reads were/are mild), I didn't mind switching and I had already thought Maniac was scummy.

I wrote my wall post before reading N1 so I was focused on D1. This feels rather believable in that I also felt that the vibes around Damo were better near EoD1.

I think there's a pretty good chance that it was (TvT)vT which clears Damo more by association.

I was reflecting on eod1 and I’m starting to settle on it being TvTvT. If I were scum, my ideal situation would be TvT and then another T getting killed instead. That sets up so many easy miskills going forward.

I don't mind the argument that you townread Damo therefore think TvTvT. To independently claim TvTvT therefore town Damo requires a solid reason for suspecting TvT and I don't think the fact that mafia would have liked to get a TvT is a sufficiently solid reason. Just because the mafia would like something doesn't mean that they end up getting it.

I think it's very unlikely to be DL, Jamie, TFB, or Sabi. I lean town on you, Kak, and Bona. I suspect multiple between aaro, Maniac, damo, and Pyxxy (ordered from current read of scummiest to least).

I'm sorry to aaro if I'm tunnelling here, but this reeks of a thing I do as scum where I don't really keep everyone in my head and only really process the reads that I need for the discussion at this time.

Off this list are: Sabi, DL, Jamie, Kak, and Pyxxy. If aaro is scum I think that all 5 of them look quite good. It's also not just that aaro has left them off with the implication that he might return to them later. He says that the doesn't have a good reason on them therefore are nulls.

Not only does this imply that he thinks that Jamie is town, but that he has thought this for at least a little while now. Given that association why doesn't aaro glance at the list of players and think "oh yeah, I townread Jamie, let me add him on".

aaro, did you ever explain how you came to the conclusion that yesterday was probably TvTvT? You don't townread damo independently of that idea and you were also having doubts about it earlier in the day so I'm curious where that came out of

It seems like the smart thing to do as scum. Maybe I’m giving a scum day chat too much credit but if I were scum, that’s what I would try to do.

I mean obviously scum would try to avoid having themselves be the target of wagons and such but that doesn't mean they would necessarily be successful either. With only three scum, even with a day chat, a TvTvT seems really hard to achieve. Certainly not impossible by any means, but not exactly likely to me either.

What confuses is me you expressed that damo was your strongest scum candidate D1 and said you still thought he was a likely scum candidate D2. You explain later in D2 that late in D1 you started to view him as more townie but that doesn't seem to match the timeline of what you stated publicly.

If you started to believe that Damo was townie because of his late D1 posts (as you said in response to me saying I viewed it as likely that one of you or Damo were scum) why did you say at the start of D2 that Damo was scum?

It is odd. I don't know if it is lazy town or scum. But Damo seems more concerned with survival than anything else and the way he has done it seems different from both his normal scum and town play which is befuddling.
