@thamrick: Do you not think it is worth trying to get more information about the D1 lynch? Do you think there is anything about the D1 lynch that would make it useful to find out if Ezio is scum or town?

If Bozo is scum, I don't know that it makes sense for him to come in and try to liven it up with some questioning. He could just as easily hide out and let town wither under its own neglect.

@thamrick: I took your statement to imply that you did not think the discussion was among town members.

I didn't say that. Don't shade me.

I also don't understand your 2nd question.

Among exclusively town members.

Scum still have 3 members. At least one of them is likely to try to shape the direction town is looking.

As the great FoxyWoxy (a close relative of my friend FoxyLoxy) once said, "lurking is shirking." So why is being out in the open a worse way to hide than laying low?

Speaking of... where are you
@nesdunk
@ezio
@rdrivera

reedeer is outposting all 3 of you lately... not a high bar.

So which one of us do you think it is? Or two of us?

@thamrick: My guess is that Jamie's wagon built up from town votes, possibly exclusively town votes, so the scum stayed off it. If I am right about Ezio being town, one or maybe two scum could have joined Ezio's wagon to make sure Jamie's alternate wagon was town. It is possible there were no scum online at EOD and the scum stayed off both wagons. However, there are only four players left who were not on Jamie or Ezio D1.

@thamrick: My second question was whether you think it is necessary to know if Ezio is scum or town to determine anything useful from the D1 lynch.

Worried that I think it's you?

I already said bozo's questions feel contrived.

I don't feel great about you but I can't put my finger on why.

ghug seems towny to me

@Foxcastle - from the original list of players, who haven't you played with before?

Necessary, no. Useful, sure. Why do you ask? I don't get the point of the question.

But like, you haven't asked me what I think about the D1 lynch beyond who I would have voted for. You've asked mostly general questions about whether information from a lynch is useful, which it obviously is.

@bozo - why do you think that if Jamie's wagon was town driven scum would have stayed off it?

@ghug: Ezio had no votes on him at the time he voted for Jamie, putting Jamie at five votes, so he would not have been trying to protect himself. Why do you think he would vote for Jamie at that point as scum after previously defending Jamie?
Bo and xorxes were the two leading counterwagons at this point. It could have been an attempt to protect them, or an attempt to secure an uninformative lynch on a townie, or a legitimate reversal in opinion on Jamie. To me, the third still seems the least likely.

Posting less then Reedeer should probably be my highest achievement as a lurker.

I think this conversation is useful not only to try to understand D1, but also to gather info about the remaining players views.

I still think Bozo is scum but I will not tunnel on him at night.

About D1, I am not 100 sure it was town x town, but the way the voting went make it possible. What I don't believe is only town voted Jamiet, scum usually spread votes D1 and at least one should be on a leading town wagon.

@thamrick: Please feel free to give any opinions you have pertaining to the D1 lynch.

I don't know why scum would want to be part of a mislynch if they did not have to be, so if it looked like town votes were enough to lynch Jamie, scum could have stayed off of his wagon.

It is quite the achievement.

I'm not saying we shouldn't discuss EoD1. Just that I don't think bozo's questions are actually achieving that.

I agree with you 100%. It could have been t/t, sure. Bozo's insistence that it was strikes me as very odd. Like, sure, I get townreading people on the wagon, but it's like he's not even considering other possibilities.

@thamrick: I am considering other possibilities and am interested in other opinions. It is possible I am wrong about Ezio being town, and if so, ghug makes a good point that he could have been protecting bo or xorxes with his vote for Jamie.
