i lied i did look into it further even though it's 1am

not to be too focused on the stuff about me, but rdi's reactions of doubting me at first and then seemingly coming around strike me as more genuine than celaph just slight town-reading me. if a potential route as mafia is about blending in and making non-controversial posts so as to not draw attention, i feel like celaph is moreso doing that.

which is also kind of why i townread bona decently strongly. the easy thing to do as scum is to just support/back the likeable new guy. him going against the grain a bit with that is a harder sell to make, so it feels more genuine.

I really like this post. The comment about Bona is exactly what I am feeling about him.

Well when I'm GM-ing I use www.random.org to randomly allocate all the roles from a list. I assume Tom does a similar thing but not 100% sure.

I don't know who to vote for. I feel like Demon's "data" nonsense is too attention-grabbing and awkward to come from scum? I don't want to kill Bob yet, I feel like he's thinking like me on a lot of things (tbh I felt that when he was scum last time and I got blindsided, but that was multi-mafia and if ghug can use that excuse then so can I). I don't love how Fox was apparently pleased that the game got serious but then didn't contribute anything serious himself.

But yes let me explain my read on Foxcastle.

Let's break down his iso. Only 16 posts so not a lengthy task:

- After pointing out the bot error, he starts complaining about the poor quality of the early shitposting. Durga asked him about this and he made a long rambling bloviating post about serotonin levels. Real "look at me and my extensive vocabulary" stuff.

- I jokingly suggest he should go on Joe Rogan's podcast (where people often talk in that self-satisfied pseudo-intellectual manner) and he sarcastically encourages me.

- He predicts that Durga will want to kill a lurker.

- Similar sarcastic encouragement towards BobMcBob.

- Claims to assume the votes on DeathLlama would be "joke votes" but notes that the people on the wagon take things seriously (implying their votes are sincere; I know mine was). Also thinks that all the votes on Durga are joke votes.

- Provides some simple points of advice to Clamp.

- Suggests he finds Bob and Bona hard to read.

- Durga responds to his comment about how the votes on DeathLlama were not joke votes. Fox replies "I didn't mean you, obviously". This is a bit odd as it implies that Foxcastle thinks Durga was joke-voting.

- Says "I like how Lamp thinks" in response to Clamp asking if "cool" means "town" in the context of Bob saying "bona is cool".

- Challenges Bob to update his view on DeathLlama "now that DL is back". Note that, at the time Foxcastle said this, DeathLlama had indicated "just got off a plane" but had not actually contributed any more.

- Engages in a short nit-picking argument with Kgray about whether he was "looking for laughs".

So let's summarise the weight of these posts:

1. He is very dismissive of the DeathLlama wagon, and when DL shows up he seems very keen for people to re-evaluate their DL votes, even before DL has said anything useful.

2. He predicts that Durga will want to kill lurkers, yet when Durga does vote for a lurker (DeathLlama), he implies Durga was joke voting.

3. He repeatedly offers help and support to Clamp.

4. His other posts are composed mostly of sarcasm and bloviating.

This does NOT remind me of Town!Foxcastle earnestly looking for scum and trying to solve the game. Zero scumhunting is evidenced from these posts.

This DOES remind me of Scum!Foxcastle trying to appear present and active without doing much, lowkey defending a lurker (team mate?) and lowkey buddying the newbie.

Conclusion: I think Foxcastle is scum.

Okay Donny is a big old lump of eh. His reaction to flum trust tell is not good.
Ghug has done actually nothing except tfb argument which looks fine and also calling damo bad vibes.
Durga is playing in this game of mafia.
Bona is absolutely consistent with how Bona plays, nothing off at least.
Jamie is not ringing any alarm bells currently.
Kgray is feeling also pretty standard, and if she's vibing with my ideas than that signals a town mindset to me.
TFB hasn't done much but leaning town off arguing.
I vibe with blamp so far. Also DL8 surprisingly, after that start.
Flum is probably town.

I have spoken on celaph, pretty standard so far but with one significant question mark.
Maniac is bad.
HR is a nuisance.
Demon has nothing going for him and a stupid post about data.
