The position discussed with the Council was for a 24-hour pause.

Here are the timings based on a 14th Dec start:

Start: Evening of 14th Dec
EoD 1: Evening of 16th Dec
EoN 1: Evening of 17th Dec
EoD 2: Evening of 19th Dec
EoN 2: Evening of 20th Dec
EoD 3: Evening of 22nd Dec
EoN 3: Evening of 23rd Dec
Day 4 will pause at the 24hr point, on the evening of 24th Dec
Day 4 will resume after a 24hr pause, on the evening of 25th Dec
EoD 4: Evening of 26th Dec
EoN 4: Evening of 27th Dec
EoD 5: Evening of 29th Dec
EoN 5: Evening of 30th Dec

Better for the quality of the game to just do the pause. Anyone opposing the pause can look at d3 & 4 of 1020 as proof that a pause is needed due to lack of activity.
