Back to what I asked Squigs. Why are we focusing on scum pairs and not trying to find at least one scum. If we find one scum should it not be easier to figure out pairings? Right now it seems fruitless to figure out pairings when we have yet to catch one scum and we are in day 3.

But regardless you know I'm dumb..

That is why I am not putting to much energy into it myself.

caught up and damo's push/vote on sabi just doesn't strike me as genuine - I feel like town who think their scumread on someone from d1 is correct would want to at least check n1/d2/n2/d3 for more evidence to convince people (sabi is not a likely kill today) or to see if their mind is changed

I dont townread damo, but way back in M39 I played against town damo who used scumpairs

He seemed a lot more natural in M1019 to me, tbh. Still a pretty mechanical focus, but there are a few pushes D1

Ok, let's assume bozo's town. I'm still town, and I still have no interest in Sabi.

1. Of the day 1 and 2 wagons, Bona is the only potential scum. If bona is scum, Jamie made a move day 1 to put snowy in the lead. I think that bus is also plausible. darg is likely not a teammate here (worcej was really blatant in jumping on and then darg just plopped a vote there the next day). Squigs and DL would both have had to be bussing day 1, but I think that's at least plausible play from them. Damo did try to start that Sabi wagon day one, which I suppose makes him plausible too.
2. If Bona's town, we're left with a pool of Jamie/darg/Squiggles/DL/damo containing all the scum, and there were never any town wagons. I like Squiggles and DL in this world because they've been the sort of active discussion drivers who could pull this off.

Now, I'd expect scum to be bussing some today, either because bozo's a lost cause or because they only need one or two kills to get to the endgame. Bozo only has one vote right now, but he's on most of the lists given as responses to his own survey. If he's town, though, Jamie's into bona and darg, darg's into bona and damo, DL's into damo/darg, damo's into Sabi/darg/DL/Squigs (several of these lists include me, I just don't care about that bit right now). I'm not sure what exactly there is to glean there.

I don't really think bona is scum right now, and that leaves darg looking like a pretty decent candidate in either of the other two worlds, so I think I'm happy leaving my vote there for the time being. Jamie's also plausible in both groups, but I think his behavior's a little townier today overall.

The absence of interesting contributions on which to build a case is a case itself, so I'm just gonna leave it there.

- what's your current read on bozo? splitting it into bozo town/bozo scum without showing a preference for either is an interesting way to think about the gamestate
- if you think bona is town, why is darg a decent candidate in the case where bozo is town? you say "we're left with a pool of Jamie/darg/Squiggles/DL/damo containing all the scum, and there were never any town wagons. I like Squiggles and DL in this world because they've been the sort of active discussion drivers who could pull this off", which doesn't really specifically implicate darg
- independent of bozo's alignment, why do you think bona is town?

I think I want some combo of darg/bozo/Jamie on the block, so not terrible, but I'm feeling like we're not together enough to get a good outcome right now. The day lacks good vibes.

-My mind says bozo's scum but my heart is having doubts. I feel like if he were scum, he'd be getting bussed hard and dying easily (the same would probably be true if he were town and we were at KYLO, now that I think about it), and my analysis last night made it feel like there weren't a lot of likely pairings. On the other hand, he's pretty scummy, and my reads of individuals aren't making a team without him make a lot of sense either.
-I'm not sure it has to be both you and Squiggles, and even if it is, you have to have teammates. I also just think that's the least likely situation, and darg is scummy.
-At EoD yesterday, bona panicked when he got three votes and broke the tie. I don't think scum doing that is talking about alarm bells in the seconds before the flip and saying that's why he did it afterwards. They're feeling awkward and exposed. I am wondering if I'm putting too much stock in one moment, but he's also felt tunnelly in a townie way.
