Feeling pretty good. I think our PoE pool is pretty small here. All I really want out of things I can't reasonably expect for this night is for damo to talk to us and give us his reads and anything else he wants to say in case mafia goes after him.

My towncore is Damo, Doom, Death, and ghug. Sabi seems town enough but that may be because I am more willing to write weird things they do off given their play last game and their general newness.

That leaves the PoE as Durga, Bunnicula (my Bunny/Vecna combo), Jamie, and rdr.

If I had to rank I go Jamie, Durga, rdr, and Bunnicula

I like your POE (I know I am town obviously, but I didn't obvtown this game). If we are lucky and have a PR among this POE we are probably with the game in our hands.

FWIW, I think Durga looks pretty towny, and Ghug as well. Damo obviously.

I would note that bunny had been observing the game and gathering those thoughts BEFORE he got Vecna's role PM so that is easy to appear as if he's actively trying to fall and while the thoughts are good we don't necessarily want to town read him for it.

I haven't gotten any indication one way or another from Jamie. He hasn't asked anyone to gladiator battle him yet, which is something.

Time for my thoughts on ghug as my leading scumread:

Did a whole lot of shitposting with snowy. But he focused almost exclusively on snowy. There's one post he addresses damo, and one post he tells Doom he responded first. I think of town!ghug as shitposting more uniformly.

The post "this is the sort of game as scum I'd win by outtalking everyone" read like a braggadocios double bluff to me.

The ghug continues to shitpost? Is he still shitposting when calling Durga "FAAAAAKE"? I can't even tell. It's the sort of post that if town!ghug really meant "man this thread is dead", he'd be trying to stop the shit posting a bit so others could be less dead. Instead he's doubling down to stop anything happening.

He keeps complaining about no posts, but addresses me, and just keeps calling Faaaaaqaaaaake!

"I have literally zero townreads at this point" felt fake to me. I had townreads by then. And his saying that as the top poster felt like a way of trying to keep people from expressing their townreads.

His "frustrated by lack of information" repeated complaints felt the same way. Not that he actually cared, because whenever someone tried to stop shit posting he jumped on them, but because it's an easy complaint. Like "kill the lurkers" is easy for scum to say.

And asking for reasons on lfischl vs uber also feels easy to say as scum.

Ghug later says all his "FAAAAAKEEE" posts were not shitposting; he meant it. It's the scummiest way to present his thoughts.

In addition to all this, the biggest issue I saw was that town was soooo divided and lost. Even for day 1. When this happens, it usually means scum is leading the thread (see: last game with snowy).

In addition, ghug's response to me saying he was my strongest scum read was SO over the top aggressive that I don't see town!ghug doing that. Town!ghug just says "bunny, you're tunneling again." I see scum!ghug being frustrated that an easy "absent" miskill became the first person accusing him.

Anyways, that's my thoughts. I'll be gone closer to EOD, so if I die...I dunno...ignore my reads since we all do that for the dead anyways.


Other options: TFB as noticed before was doing weird stuff different than last game until Durga called him on it, and he instantly switched. Those would be my two top people in a vacuum. I haven't looked through VCA yet.
