I still really like the suggestion that we should use the oracle on someone whose alignment [not role] we don't know.

I need to go back and find who that was. Anyone remember?
Yeah ghug said that. It gave me the creeps based on how much he's arguing that Chaqa should be considered the cop unless there's a CC.
This is a another mischaracterization. I think we shouldn't kill Chaqa for now, not that we should necessarily consider he's the cop forever. I am coming around on him maybe actually being the cop, though.

Yes lmao it's been a joke with us for over a year now. It comes up basically every game and Rivera often uses it as part of a basis for his read of me, but I don't think it's at all as consistent of a tell as he thinks/pretends.
Well yeah I get the basis of the joke I just think it's cute that you both compliment the other as being better phrased than yourselves, instead of just pulling a ghug and saying "they're mini-me"
It is cute. And actually, Rivera got me to join mafia in the first place - wow thanks a lot Rivera :eyeroll:
Don't blame me, you already want to ;)

Those are both incredibly easy things to take issue with as scum.
What do you mean, "both"? I'm making one point here. Are you even reading what I'm saying before you make this baseless accusations?
I saw three things
It's not, it's literally one thing I'm objecting to, but why is this important for you to clarify anyway?

I am missing what’s so weird about people wanting to vote off someone besides jasnah. If they think jasnah is town, isn’t it optimal to vote where there might be mafia?
Multiple people think the primary job of town is to hunt bad town and not the mafia given comments made to be on D1, so yes I think some are surprised that the optimal behavior is to try and take shots at potential scum instead of your hard town reads.

I would like worcej and lfischl specifically to discuss their jasnah vote and their current reads.

Why are we discussing this hypothetical that won't happen anyway. This game is so scum sided it hurts.
I find complaining about the setup to actually be much better for determining alignments than most mechanical talk, because at its core it's an expression of emotion.
Which way do you think Durga's complaint makes you lean for her? I assume positive, but to be clear.

rdrivera also complained about the nature of the the no flips making the game unenjoyable for him. Do you have any takes on that?
It makes me like both a bit more. Rd less so, because I think this game could be less enjoyable without flips for scum too. I think everyone knew this was terribly scumsided coming in as well, so it gets a little less weight than it would in a normal game.

You said you don't understand my thought process this game (and indicated you were scumreading me for that) but I had almost this exact reaction to rivera's post, shared your skepticism about Bunny's you/bona analysis, and have had similar questions about snowy. It's like you're ignoring all that and only focusing on the fact that I didn't save worcej and it's really frustrating me.
Those are both incredibly easy things to take issue with as scum.

The rd take and the bunny take.

Those are reasonable motives, I admit.

Well, you keep keeping an eye out.

@rdrivera/kgray have you noticed you both claim the other puts your thoughts to words better than yourselves?
I don't think Kgray said this, but if she did I will take as a great compliment.

Honestly, I usually have a hard time convincing people of my thoughts even when I am totally sure of it (remember the game I was cop and people still choose to believe Bozo). I think she write things more objectively and people tend to follow her.
To be fair, the people who didn't follow you there were scum, the jester, and Johnny Big Horse. You got all the townies, and were convincing enough that I was confident voting for you.

Kgray is specifically teenage ghug. Don't undersell the nuance there.
Self-voting is scummy.
Weird, that's what damo said about his copscan.

Also since someone mentioned it earlier (Vecna?) I wanted to shoot off Macca in the item madness game for being anti-town because we literally only had the option of shooting her off or no killing.

I mean sure I'll often call for voting off lurkers and such but mostly when it's hard to tell their alignment, not when I think they're town but also terrible.

##VOTE worcej

can't kill the cop
Also, what is this weird justification?

I feel like TFB has been a little too careful about all his reads/votes this game.
How is this a weird justification? Chaqa had claimed cop in the final 7 minutes of the day and my vote was on him. Therefore I had to vote for someone else...because I don't want to kill the cop. This seems pretty self-explanatory. If you're wondering why worcej, I wanted to go after someone else to save Jasnah and it just so happened that the second biggest wagon after Chaqa was worcej, someone I had previously voted for and had slight scum reads on. Seems to be a pretty obvious vote.

Ok so Chaqa thinks that scum tried to save Jasnah, and he thought it was important to draw attention to this theory.

At the same time, he refuses to talk about the ringleader of the late-D1 "SAVE JASNAH!" push. (i.e. Ghug), and indicates a refusal to talk about him until several days from now.

If its so important to avoid discussing Ghug, why did you want to discuss events in which Ghug was a pivotal actor?

Not fucking helpful Chaqa.
Feels like he's trying to set me up.

He also missed both HB (who was unfortunately absent EoD) and foodcoats

It was a pretty one sided vote, I think 7-2? So I see where he's coming from

That being said I hardly think that result was your fault, rdrivera
