I very much dislike the worcej wagon. Throw me in the list of "worc knights" or w/e lol

I quite agree with the takes on Bozo. He feels very fake, too calm, and not at all himself this game. I'm pretty sure he's rolled scum. He also was one of the last people to cast a vote Day 1, which is something I've found to be scum-indicative (tom did it today too).

Jansah-Bozo-Tom-??? scumteam, calling my shot

I'm putting together a Pokemon mafia game. It's gonna be a little silly and different but I think it will be fun

They killed Flum and Durga to ruin our morale and shitposting.
They killed those two to put forward the argument that they were both scumreading me.

Check scumchat after the game, im willing to bet you another portion of chipotle on that crap.
So did I win this bet too?

GM AWARDS

Town MVP - worcej (Clutch save turned the game to a foregone conclusion)
Overall MVP - snowy801 (Put in a beyond heroic effort in the longest thread in the site's history)
Pff, I saved Worcej's ass twice to allow him to make said save ;)

I havent checked, but you probably do.

Also, deep down I knew you were town too, but it was just nice to give scum an incentive to not kill you.

It was nice to see a few props in the God QT. This is probably the most accurate my reads have ever been.

I tell you what, I do quite like no-reveal. I would play this again.

Nice one, my team.

Good effort, Snowy.

I have no idea what Jasnah was thinking and that D1 performance made it an uphill battle for scum.

I thought Bozo was rather off his game this time - I found him very easy to spot and once there was a CC battle, he was the obvious scum from my perspective.

Several of you were wrong about me but that's nothing new.
My bad homie we could have clean swept this game if I hadn't been a dummy :(
I was genuinely quite upset at the number of people saying "Jamie isn't doing anything" when I was one of the most active players throughout D2 and D3, I correctly pegged Jasnah as scum, and I nailed Bozo to the wall. Honestly I think this was one of my better town performances and yet at least three people, all of whom were town and one of whom was you, repeatedly accused me of doing nothing.

But in the greater scheme of things, never mind, because our team won the game.
Jamiet actually was pretty darn good this game. I still have no idea how he ended up dying over snowy.

Couldve won this game on D4 lmao without miskilling a single time

edit: D5 then I guess since D2 was tied.

That was wild and surprisingly fun! Even with lack of flips, I did think I had plenty of info, more than enough to know what's going on.

Also, y'all get super fiesty in this game, lol. Glad I didn't get the worst of it, but still. And it's better than I remember from high school lucky days, so I guess that's something.
I hope you play again, you were an absolute enrichment of this group of degenerates.

Same to you Sabi. Dont take it personally that people scumread you and hound you. Worcej and Bunny are a bit rough around the edges, but theyre treasures in their own rights.

The curse of this game is either you have good reads but can't convince people, or you have bad reads and you can. :P
Well played though
This is a pretty good quote as well lol

…I think you’re not cut out for this game. And that’s not on us.
A little less on the judgements would be appreciated. mafia will always be a game of mixing characters and playstyles, and all should be welcome.

I want EMC back

Also our PRs played great snowy you crazy

worcej got a great docsave to give us our miskill back after we tied (lol)

Chaqa caught Tom and whatever people might think about the inevitability of that kill, it brought a lot of clarity to D2 (our inability to take advantage of that clarity isn't his fault)

TFB's choices were understandable, it was unfortunate that he scanned Bona on the night Bona got docsaved

...I don't actually know who the Oracle is  but I'm sure they were great

And Bunny's claim was very well executed and ultimately got a mafia out, even if you want to put most of the blame on that on jasnah
oh yeah, I still have no clue about this either.

I was so offended when you stopped scum reading me
Honestly, something that played in my head was that you'd pay more attention to your reasoning for scumreading me lmao.

You produced like 3 full posts that all were -full- of lies. If jamiet was still in the game he'd he death-tunneling you without letting up for a second.

I feel like Chrono Trigger flips all the tropes of the average RPG at the time and that was what made it so good. It started off seeming like any other RPG with a silent protagonist. I went in completely blind and was consistently surprised by what came next. I also adored there being no random encounters. They even deconstruct the idea of a silent protagonist in videogames and it was like wtf.

I've been out of the loop in gaming culture since the gamecube probably, but I did play Undertale and again that one was really good because it flipped the tropes you'd expect. And I replayed Chrono Trigger only around 5 years ago and it still holds up.
Yes!! Undertale is the first RPG I’ve played in years. It’s very good. Maybe that’s why chrono doesn’t register is that many games tried to emulate it. So it doesn’t seem original anymore.
I think the genre as a whole might just be pretty outdated? At least the genre Chrono Trigger is critiquing. (Final Fantasy was the most famous RPG and has long since changed it's genre)
The BG/BG2 Genre is still somewhat alive and kicking.

While I feel that Divinity original sin 1/2 were majorly overhyped and not that awesome.....and that BG3 is shaping up to be an absolute abomination that should not be tied to the name.....Pathfinder;kingmaker and its new installment (after waiting for all bug fixes, potentially) are both really good games in the genre.

A lot of the "greatest of all time" games from the 90s and early 00s end up massively showing their age as things progress. It's the nerd equivalent of glorifying sports stars from the 50s and 60s. Most of those 90s-00s era games are more relevant for what they represented in their time rather than how well they objectively stand up to decades of development.
This goes both ways. While a game like say FF6 or FF7 isn't as polished as FF15, I'd argue the first two are more complete and much better overall games.

And Morrowind is better than Skyrim FUCKIN FITE ME
I dont think anyone that played both games will fight you on that buddy. And im pretty sure its a universal accepted truth.
