I don't know anything about Sabi's extenuating circumstances that you all seem to be keyed into but she does find a lot of reasons (real or not I don't know why I have to say this guys it's not a crime to suspect people of lying in mafia) to disappear for extended periods of time

Also is weirdly insistent she's obvtown which is not obvious at all

I don't read Sabi as the type of person to leverage or invent out of game circumstances like that, but as the game goes on and I find it harder to come up with a suspects list that I like, I am having to reconsider my "obvtown and move on" stance from earlier in the game. That's true for all the new players actually, though Doom still seems very safely town to me. Sabi did find a way not to be on any lead wagon in the end at EOD2, and if I'm right that jasnah is actually mafia then Sabi ended up on jasnah's counterwagon. I don't think it's ridiculous to look closer.

its a possibility. I thought her initial reason to scumread Worcej (over the -> everyone unvotes) was a pretty interesting and unique take to be suspicious over someone......but when she was still on that day2 in that scenario, while noone else used that as reasoning, and she didnt question anyone on them not using that as reasoning.....it could also be just coasting on easy reasoning that noone seemed to press her on.

I know I was ecstatic when I rolled scum in that game like 3 years ago (with Oztra and Chaqa) where I actually had to fly to my grandfather's funeral and used it as an excuse to lurk like no hell

I mean I honestly didn't have time but you know what I mean, I think I made it to final 5 that game but lost to 3P? The memory's hazy

The moral of the story is that people lie, but maybe it's actually that I'm just lacking in moral fibre that's omnipresent elsewhere

Theres been plenty of people that confirmed her first instance during the diplomacy, and she came back after that.

I would strongly caution not to use this type of reasoning when you do not know what is going on. That stuff can come off very harshly, and it almost never is the case.

I know y’all don’t believe in townslips but it’s quite hard for me to imagine Sabi not making the obvious realization that mafia know a Docsave instantly from the fact that they went pew pew on someone and that someone didn’t die, if she is mafia. It’s just not something you’d even think about

Yup that was the second townslip I was mentioning. But yeah you are right that Doom has been free of townslips to my knowledge despite being relatively new. That being said absence of townslips is not proof of or even necessarily and indication of scumminess. Would be a shame to punish a player who is new and doesn't make newbie mistakes simply for being a new player.

Hmm...I was starting to think the same thing, but with Sabi instead of Doom.

I think Doom have been pretty towny. I think if no other info come around, next day should be between Sabi, lfishcl, Tom and me as we are the biggest question marks and not good choices to be around closer to the end. Maybe throw TFB in this pot too.
