To the extent that I might be described as "desperate" (I assume in reference to the Cop) it is only because I think Chaqa made some, to put it gently, extremely performative comments about his time in the Discord server -- the most charitable interpretation of what he said that actually lines up with reality is that he was genuinely frustrated with this game and he was concerned that it might have flared up elsewhere, though the way he put it was much more aggressive and bad faith than that -- and I would rather believe the performativeness was a mafia ploy to get me off his case instead of my teammate deciding that it was better to weaponize our personal project, of which I am quite proud (and I'm sure he is as well), to get me to shut up than genuinely engage with me on the level. I laughed at it at first because I thought it was flagrant but well-designed mafia acting that no one else would be able to see through (except Bona maybe), but as I've started to accept that he's actually town I'm just pissed off about it.

Logically it's quite obvious that short of Vecna cc'ing (and having a really strong cover story for it, I don't see how Vecna could credibly cc here) Chaqa is just the Cop. Maybe it should have been obvious earlier. But the way you handle that isn't to guilt trip and shame your teammates into not asking questions. It's a team game, and if you want the egos to be set aside and work as a team, you don't fucking dredge up personal matters to get an in-game edge.

Maybe it's just me but I'm pretty depressed at the probability that Chaqa actually plays cop like this. HB saying he's taking a break is one thing

I'm annoyed with the needless pettiness and vindictiveness of his play, but I do think he's right that the criticism of his mechanical play is unfair. You can't really be dealt a worse hand as a Cop than being forced to claim Day 1 with a factional roleblock and no flips, and the mafia's... unorthodox night actions haven't really helped (until last night anyway). Once he claims to keep from dying Day 1 there's not a lot he can really do with the role in this setup. Getting an inno and a guilty when you've spent basically the whole game in roleblock lockdown is a solid outing for a Cop.

I've been back and forth on Chaqa and cannot keep hopping over this fence. Tom fits as a scum and I'll accept the scan attempt on him from Chaqa because the target makes sense in regards to narrowing down the non-clear group.
