It appears to me that the hammer mechanics in this game are absolutely standard and just the same as they have been in all the other games you have played on tgisnsite, which is quite a few.

Why did you feel the need to make a public GM query about them?

Quite frankly, I was confused by the item copy flavor which stated something along the lines of "everyone will be notified that the phase will end in 5 minutes", which I only revisited to clear my own confusion after Chaqa's reply to learn that this is only for the copy, not the regular item.

Further, a normal hammer does not have a 5 minute delay.
