Well, if it's formed of Worce and J, we have to evaluate independently.

We know Worcester is pronounced "Wooster", but that's because it's British. He's American, so we pronounce the R. Now, it's possible the J is an H or I sound, but I think J as a soft G is more common in America, especially given that his surname appears to have western European roots.
