Yes, a "Hot Potato".

Ok so first, I was told that I received some Corn Salsa during the night.

I queried this and was told this was a mistake, and I had not got any Corn Salsa after all, but that instead, I did have a Hot Potato.

I requested further clarification and was told I didn't have any potatoes either.

Meanwhile Vecna is going on about how Hamilton can't be the Third Party due to something involving the cheese.

I'm really quite confused at this point.

Operation Let's Be Nice to Jamiet Commencing

To summarize:

Yesterday, as we flipped Tom, he claimed HamB is 3P
As it was known I possessed hot potato, I passed it on to someone I trust not to be scum, Vecna (as it is not a 3P item, though I don't believe he is anyway)
Vecna applies Hot Potato to HamB
HamB's earlier starting item claim, Corn Salsa, comes tumbling out

Presumably, a mistake is made by the GM in the following way:
The item is meant to go to someone who was not on the day kill wagon the day prior (Maniac, Bozo)
Instead, this went to you. Chaqa the GM noticed, and corrected this error. Presumably, you did not receive this item, Maniac did, as he claimed.

A 3P would have at least a cheese, hence HamB is not 3P.
Vecna seems to believe he is not scum either, as TomB apparently tried to get him miskilled.

Regarding Vecna’s idea that HB is unlikely scum because he had only one item: how many items do we think scum might have?

They’ve performed two NKs and they lost Kak’s item. So they may only have five items, no? I suppose that is still a lot to end up on one scummer (ie 4 if HB carried one and the other partner inherited the rest).

Okay… I am convinced HB is a less likely scum for that reason.
