i had also pointed out their absence, and it wasnt exactly a hard thought to come by
also its not the sort of thing people tend to intentionally parrot
so its strange that rdr spends one of his very few posts picking out this of all things
noting this one down too

Jamie softed that he knew I was "lying" about the chicken yesterday but he had no interest in fully claiming it. Suddenly the fact that I've claimed roleblocked is enough for him to claim, and he's all ready to explain the roleblock as scum also thinking I'm third party. That's not a logical thought progression.

On the other hand, ghug makes a joke about having Jamie's item as the game opens. Jamie believes I'm serious, for whatever reason, and thinks I'm third party fakeclaiming an item (even if you think I was serious, concluding I'm specifically 3P rather than just scum in general makes no sense unless you know something). His team roleblocks me, and then he helpfully volunteers this information to the town, but makes no case either way on whether i should be killed immediately or not.

The scum explanation makes significantly more sense.

What makes you feel that we aren't playing mafia? Is there anything in particular?

Uhhh, just barely made it, couldn't really read the new stuff, reads are until my post before:

1. Bob - he's investigative, he's natural, I have a great feeling about him, I ship him. I hope for a crispy relationship. My top townread.
2. bozo - close behind but not at the same level as bob, he also feels as typical bozo. Pretty much town
3. celaph - not as involved, but I liked his posts. A gap between him and bozo, but he would be the highest 'townish'
4. Vecna - I don't get the typical full town vibes from him, but I wouldn't vote him as it is.
5. damo - he started neutral, but I liked some of his recent posts, like he want to dig something up. That might be something else, but my bet is on a solid townish.
6. hamilton - from here we go into more neutral territory, but
7. RD - even when he is a lurker, I know his playstyle (somehow I think) and I respect RD as a person from the bottom of my heart. Anyway, if it wouldn't be RD he would be much lower, so please show more
8. ghug - feels not the typical ghug, maybe some meta change? please investigate him
9. worcej - getting a blank null from him,
10. foodcoats - not much seen, he seems to try, but I can't see much. normally he should do more?
11. snowy - doesn't feel good to me, though better than jamie.

I feel like were I scum, trying to roleblock 3P would not be anywhere near the top of my priority list and if they did indeed believe in truth that you were 3P they would have deliberately avoided you, opting instead to seek out information item holders.

a) Jamie is not known for his strategic expertise
b) unless this game has several cop items in it, scum's chances of hitting one at random with an rb is small, and there are other valid uses of the roleblock, like sowing chaos and keeping the 3P weak. They also have other powers with which they can target investigators.

Ah, but Jamiet's failure to strategize is only partially relevant, as employing this precise strategy would involve three other players acquiescing to it. Do you feel that your suppositions are sufficiently independent of the thought "Jamiet being dumb" that this caveat does not meaningfully affect your thoughts?
